i got a little idea. if a team goes cpu the players can sign with a new team, but that team must be close to their skill level. within 4 levels.
lets say my level 30 wr's team goes cpu. two leagues i am interested in going to are Western Europe BBB3, South America A3, and USA AA1
USA AA1 Median/mean level: 35 (estimate with no prior research)
South America A3 Median/mean level: 28 (see parenthesis above)
Western Europe BBB3 median/mean level: 16 (see parenthesis above)
i would be able to join USA AA1 no problem since i am lower level than the rest of the league. i will be within the skill level range of South America A3 so i could join it also. But, i would be too high of level to join Western Europe BBB3.

i wouid be too low of level to join a team in USA AA1, but a close enough level to join a team in South America A3.
There shouldn't be any issue with you joining either. The concern isn't a lower-level player coming in late in the season, but rather a "ringer" or group of "ringers" coming in and changing the balance of a league

with my idea that would be impossible. maybe a bad example, but with a "skill range" effecting the leagues you could join during the season would prevent ringers.

Just have your idea with the floor but no ceiling. It would work fine

I agree yes yes i know we should sign 40 day contracts but it's turned into an exploit with capped teams where they'll get off the day it becomes on uncapped luckily that can't happen anymore but it does throw leagues off balance when some one is signed mid season.

Good idea. It is a pretty easy way to solve the problem that doesn't change the whole landscape of the game, especially since a lot of people claim this rarely/never happens.
