The only thing I'd be iffy about is having the full field with all the sidelines populated by event staff and cheerleaders etc etc. It could look overly cluttered with them there plus the players on the field, plus the chain-gang, plus the referees.
I would say the new fields, the drop down options, the animated balls+still frame ball implemented, the chain-gang, the referees with animated flags, them moving around the field as well, and making the blue dots always the home team and the yellow dots always away team, and FGs therefore also now shown in replays...all that would be perfect.

Sidelines would be a little more complicated... being that the dots switch colors with change of possesion
Would be pretty cool if you could get that to work and customize your bench's color to team color.

I agree with you GG. Field options, animated balls, weather, and chain gang could be put in with relatively little hassle. The referees would require a little more work, so I'm not really expecting them immediately.
And yes, the home and away dots need to stay the same color throughout the game. It would also be cool if there were like maybe 6-8 preset colors you could choose for your "team color" in which your dots would show up as that color at home, and the away dots would always be white. You already have all those extra dots sitting around gathering dust

I think this is cool too. Another option to have in the drop down menus. For instance...home team always has the choice to choose from varying dot colors, and the away team is always default white. Or...away team gets to choose from a few very light colors (white, yellow, beige, silver, pink). While home team has very dark colors (red, blue, black, gold, purple, orange, brown, etc).
It doesnt take long to whip up a whole playing list. Or two lots of defensive/offensive dots for blue (home) and two lots of defensive/offensive dots for yellow (away) if Bort re-programmed the home/away team idea.

The fields look great, and the shadows add alot of extra atmosphere to the replays! Excellent job!
I would also suggest let the the owner choose a main colour along with a second colour for his team. During a season the team can choose what colour out of these two it will play the next home game in. The owner should be able to relselect the colours at the beginning of a season just like the NFL teams change their designs every once in a while.
I dont mind the away team playing in white all the time.

Maybe 3-4 Colors for Home possibilities and 3-4 for away that way you will never have people that are the same color
