Something needs to be done, the O got a huge power boost and the D is left to get crushed for a season until Bort can make adjustments?

I'd like to see someone do a study as to how many posters in this thread are agents controlling LB's or are agents who are GM's ( DC) .... lol

What does being a DC or having an LB have to do with making it so the AI doesn't screw up shifting so LB's don't rush the wrong gaps?

I agree with this. Little tweaks like SLB/WLB and matching CBs to WRs is gonna be necessary as offenses get more options, and become more complex. I'd love to see the ability to double-team as well, but that's not a primary concern of mine right now.

I believe the TE options are:

Run Route
Pass block Left
Pass block Right


Look at the offensive playbook, there are no weak side TE patterns. TEs can only shift for pass blocking, not run blocking, just pass blocking.

It is against basic football logic that the offense can force the defense to declare strength.

If offense wants to run the same play to the other side of the field, the defense would line up differently

everything should be reworked to Strong and Weak

I agree, this is a must for defenses with the new offensive ai.

I think Bort has been quiet on this issue because he knows it's needed but probably doesn't have the time right now to implement it.

This. Switching the TE over to the other side does NOTHING but help block blitzing ROLB's at the moment.
