This still deserves to be page 1, especially considering what's there already...

This is a good thread and has some really good ideas in it. Do you really want to epic it? It is like placing it in the attic and forgetting about it.

What i mean is epic kills ideas. No one looks up there. They just re-suggest down here.

EPIC threads are the only one Bort/Admins read from what i read somewhere

Oh ok then that would be a good idea then. Just looks like this took some time and i would not want that to be wasted.

I think the problem with getting it epic-ed so far is that Bort/mods are very busy right about now. Hopefully keeping this afloat a little longer will get it some attention and get it moved up.

So, the suggestion is to modify the formation and move the OL (except for center) back 1/2 yard?

you must be multiple kinds of stupid, cuz this came from my suggestion about re-alinging the offensive line before the snap, which isn't epic

This should be an epic suggestion, but I'm doubting its going to get there. I think Epic is just the stuff that the mods like so that the admins can see it. Its a good system in theory but I question the judgment of the mods when this thread isn't epic but the "Superstars and All-Pros" thread is epic and remains epic even when Bort posts in it saying he doesn't want to go down that route with players.

I couldn't comment on that. I don't really ever go into the Epic sub-forum myself; I think it really just serves as a bookmark list of things for Bort to see and consider. I don't need to see it in there for my own accomplishment, but I'd certainly like to know whether or not character depth ideas are being granted appropriate credence alongside UI and sim ideas.

I think I should have actually put the three-point plan in the title, though, instead of just "character depth."

With everything in one thread it is a bit tough to really follow too. Also, I'm all for the custom special abilities but I have my qualms with the bi-modal and position specific stuff. So, I'm stuck only half way supporting the thread.

Ofcourse, having more than one thread means continuously bumping three different things to keep them floating over all of the garbage that can sometimes crowd the forum (I always thought the idea of the Epic Suggestions forum was to prevent us from having to do that) but it may be worth it to get the suggestions seen easily and to have people focus their discussion a bit.
