Scrambler Build: (please, tear it apart, but keep in mind it's a scrambling QB, not a rushing QB)

QB (Scrambler)
Train Strength/Throwing until you can soft cap Throwing
1. Throwing to 68-cap while intense training in vision/agility
2. Strength to 35 while intense training in vision/agility
3. Vision to 60-cap while intense training in speed/agility
4. Agility to 48-cap while intense training speed/stamina
5. Speed to 48-cap while training confidence/stamina
6. Confidence to 48-cap while intense training in vision/confidence
7. Strength to 48-cap
8. Vision to 68-cap
9. Throwing to 73-cap
10. Put SP in SAs: Add 2 SPs to both On the Run and Dump Pass(they’re cheap), then work on Pump Fake, Tight Spiral, Field General. Since you’re not going to have huge arm strength, Pump Fake is a must, helping your receivers get open.

All equipment in throwing
CE - Pocket Passer Tree & +6 Throwing

This is an interesting build. It’s obviously not a gunslinger, and he doesn’t have a lot of maxed abilities, but he has just enough of everything to be a good pocket passer with enough in his legs to pick up a few yards when needed, just to keep defenses honest. While this looks weird, especially at the beginning with only 35 strength, and then not going directly to the 73 cap with his main attribute, if you have an OC that knows how to game plan to his abilities, you will have a QB that is GREAT later on as a team’s single QB.

I have been struggling with what to do with the passing sliders this season. There have been some changes to the AI.

Last year, "lofty" passes were all the rage, but that does not seem to work too well this season. Anyone have any advice?

Leave them both at 0. The way I look at it the "bonus" for having them "perfect" is probably not much and since nobody really knows what works it is just best to leave them alone and control the things that all of us actually understand. I think the downside to getting them "wrong" is not worth the risk to your player's performance.

I love how GLB is filled with tactics that nobody really understands how to work. Pure genius on Bort's part!

One SA wasn't mentioned Demoralize.
Also Vet points has no discusion in this thread.

Vision is best because it enhances the chance for the best passes before it's too late. You will gets sacked less with very high vision. Vision also aids a further bonus to throwing on stride, in the numbers where WR's will have the best chance to get the ball.

Throwing is a close second.
It actualy enhances distances, acuracey and assumed a bonus for receiver to catch in coverage.

Strength and Confidence are about the same. one gives a physical bonus to the passing speed and nothing more IMO. The other aids the morale aspect where lower morale will cause ALL skills to weaken.

As for Vet points Currently I like Quick Release the best.

======
I've read other posts that have recommended a 1:1 ratio for throwing:vision... and that might be better than having throwing around 20-30% higher than vision (which is what most people do)... except for on very long throws... where very high throwing would be very helpful...

Pocket passing QB

CAN you guys tell me this four point....!

1, What is the best settings for a qb who usually wait a little long time, with balanced Passing Priority ( 0) and Throw Away Risk Threshold medium?

2, Should i use -50 open setup (any good idea with number like -25), or Throw Away Risk Threshold conservative?

3, I would like to make my qb pass i little earlier, not just when somebody is open, but generally: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1247051&pbp_id=9022094 http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1247051&pbp_id=9006753

4, Could you guys tell me, sometimes why he didn't pass earlier when 2 player is open. Need i think about it, or this is happening a lot?

Thanks. Bye.

How is gunslinger not a deep passing QB? PP is more akin to Manning, Marino, and Aikman. Deep passer (gunslinger) is the mold of Favre, Montana, and Elway. Scrambler would be Young, McNabb, Vick, Tebow.

I just don't understand the parsing of words here.

can we get an update...lol /// ...
i made a (1) QB...to be a scrambler...but his first season was used and abusded ...and ive been tryiny to make sense ever since... i dont think hes a bad build...i think it was more to the way the team got placed and the play calling a bit ...but i hope hes turning out OK...lol....
but it the end ..he has a return guy build w/ throwing added in ...

on another note....scambler doesn't even have stamina as a secondary... y??s that... every plyer needs some sort ov stamina... also, even though staminas not on there (agl) will your lol bars go up w/ it trained...??

I have no experience building a scrambling QB, but you'd still want some throwing in there. If you aren't a threat to throw, you won't get much respect. If I was to build one right now, I might consider the following:

Train the following in order to first cap by themselves
Throwing, Vision, Speed, Agility (Vision, speed, and agility probably at 30% bonus training)

Then unlock the following for multitraining and 20% bonus on all
Carry, Confidence, Strength, Stamina

You should be able to get the first part done around day 160. I'd probably get throwing and vision quick to lower caps, and put more emphasis on spd/agi as far as putting points in. 60/60/77/77?

Again, I know nothing, and could be way off. lol.
