I've asked for a greasemonkey script to be made that would display the output of the formula on the player page until we can get this implemented.
Until then, a script would make it easier for people to comply Pro Bowlers in the forum.

i hope that greasemonkey script me made fast... I want to see if my QB would make the pro bowl this year....

well thought out but the problem would be gutted teams, dominating gutted teams will inflate the stats of a mediocre guy opposed to a guy who always does good against equal competition

That's why it is league based. The team is for each conference so for 15 games, they have all faced the same opponents. So gutted or not, all of the teams would have played them.

I like the idea, I tend to doubt we will see it anytime soon though.
A few thoughts on the selection process:
1)FBs and O-line should get some credit for a successful running game, perhaps the TEs as well.
2) D-line and LBs should get crdit for TFLs (a lot of credit in fact). They should get less credit for overall tackle numbers, as the worst teams in the league almsot invariably have a lot more tackles.
3)QBs already get credit for TDs and such in their QB ratings...perhaps a little tweaking would be good. Third-down completion rate would be a big plus, and I would give them credit for overall wins as well.

1)Hard to implement and keep track of. A HB could be amazing and break a ton of tackles while his o-line is horrible or he only gains good yardage on one side of the line.
2)To be honest, I forgot TFL and will put them in the formula right away.
3)I included TDs and INTs separate because TDs score points and should be worth more and INTs are (for a QB) the opposite of scoring. Wins should not be credited to a QB, because great rushers can carry a team. See the Boston Nighthawks of USA Pro.
