I put kharton's addition into the O.P. thing...

I think that this is a good suggestion at least the 1st part of it I didn't read through all the rest of it because this is the way that teams really do play. They build together and each one helps cover up someone else's weakness.

+1, but I dont think they'll have time to get this done, and the only way I think you can get it done is by coding it yourself and presenting that to them

Well being that I'm not a programmer myself, that's a bit of an issue...besides, this isn't MY game, so why should I do the work on top of being an idea factory for them as well? I think that's the most difficult part, in all reality.
tbh this shouldn't be too terribly difficult to code. Just a breakdown of the current system. And Bort has said (or maybe DD said) he likes to use code HE writes and has control over. Hence why he hasn't added all the scripts from greasemonkey.

I didn't nessessarily mean you as in you turnerhero, I just meant that this is probably something that would have to be done outside of the admin realm and submitted to them, I still like the idea I think would change the scope of recruiting for everyone, and make everythink a little more about switching teams, and gutting teams

I could perhaps even get owners who're morons to think a little harder about removing someone from the depth chart to 'get back at them' or whatever, because in doing so, it would lower that group's overall chemistry, losing one of their player they've grown accustomed to working with on the field.
This could also lead to more specialized players getting more attention, because if you've got a good solid threesome of balanced Linebackers, adding in that good coverage LB and that good Run stuffing LB would be great, because the original three work very well together, the new two would get up to speed with them, and as a cohesive fivesome, now, they would be tough to play against in the middle of the field

If this suggestion was training, this post would receive the "Breakthrough" box

And it could actually lead to more specialized Special Teams players! That's common in every level of football...but not here, why? Because there's no benefit to being a good special teams player other than the return specialist.
If you've got a solid group of special teamers who've been together on the team a while, they'll be able to make more big plays on special teams, leading to it being more like reality - special teams can win or lose a game for you...so far in GLB, that's not the case
