Maybe have this as something, taking it another step, that is a one on one chemistry per player thing...

For an examlple, with a QB, if he's had this one WR for a long time he's used to playing with, and he gets two brand new ones, he'll not 'feel' the new guys as well as he 'feels' the one he's been gaming with for a while now, and will trust the one he's familiar with more than the others, making him look that way when he's in trouble, before he looks elsewhere.

That would mean he would actually selectively go through his receivers based on how comfortable he is throwing to each of them, and conversely, a receiver that knows his QB very well will know when to make that cut in his route to break free, he'll know when that ball's gonna be in the air in his route, and be ready for it. He'll also be aware of teh tendency of the QB to lead him, or throw low or behind in certain instances, and be ready for it, increasing his ability to catch the hard one.

Not sure how this would be set up, but this is Chemistry as it should be imo.

I like this idea.

Perhaps have an umbrella special team chemistry...

If the gunners and coverage guys know where the punter tends to kick they can down it better. Or blockers could know how to block for the best results for their returners. Or the holder can know how the long-snapper snaps usually. Ect...

This is a great idea. Can't really add much more to it and think it would be stellar to have implemented.

I have always thought it should be this way as anyone that has played football know how real chemistry works amongst positional players like WR/QB LBs etc etc.

So +100 to this idea.

Original Post edited, added Special Teams chemistry blurb, and added in another bit towards the bottom of the post to clarify that Positional Chemistry being low won't actually make your team WORSE, it'll just have no effect.
