So 100 resources per player per season that cannot be saved.

I guess 2nd pieces of equipment above lvl 56 will be impossible to get?

Listen fellas, I graduated with Honors from the University of California and own a business that did just under 7 Million dollars of receipts last year. I have been here since day 13 season 1 and feel like I understand this game.

I think GLB has just gotten too complex for me. This is supposed to be fun..the new training system is ridiculous complicated (at least it reads that way) and I don't own a team, but that seems like owning a team is now a full time occupation..so just more CPU squads on the way I'm afraid.

Love this game, don't dislike Catch or Bort or DD...but guys, this is a game, we aren't splitting the atom or recombining DNA. How do any of these changes make GLB funner for the end user, cuz this is a GAME right? Game = Fun, right? You guys should be striving to try to make this game fun and accessable and challenging to attract customers and make us spend money. Instead what I see is a game that is getting needlessly complex and alienating all but the most hardcore players who have 10 hours a day to spend here trying to figure this out.

Guys, I would slow down here....I think alot of people just lost interest in this game..

OK.....TAKE A DEEP BREATH

We all tried to read the wall of text that was those three links. Most didn't finish and probably said fuck that. But honestly, you will probably learn it in a day. More than likely it seems like a lot more than it really is, and Im sure is in the best interest of GLB.

I was pissed for about a minute. Unfortunately posted 2 times during that span. Im over it now. Don't jump ship, get pissed, and make crazy posts until you get a chance to see the changes. It won't be that tough to learn.

So what was decided to be so irredeemable about the old system to the point where the decision was made to not bother improving the problems with the old system and instead try and implement a new system which will be buggier and more exploitable for several seasons?

People are reading into the wall of text too much. I knew they would but how else do I provide the information to them? I could have just posted this:

What is changing about the financial system?

We're doing the following:

1) Adding a salary cap
2) Adding items for team money to be spent on (Team Possessions and Promotions)
3) Adding Maintenance Fees
4) Eliminating Player For Cash Trades
5) Eliminating the EQ fund
6) Adding items for players to purchase with Resource Units
7) Adding stadium deterioration
8) Having Player Salary and Team Possessions determine pre-game starting morale
9) Adding Revenue Sharing
10) End Game Energy will no longer refresh to 100 on daily rollover, will be whatever their end game energy is with a minimum low of 80 (meaning if end game energy is less than 80, it will reset to 80).

But then people would have had 100 questions on each of those 10 things, so I was trying to provide as much information as possible. It's NOT as complex as everyone is thinking as Bort explains:

FYI I see the interface for this being pretty straightforward - lots of simple "click to buy" sorts of things, with a bar or number at the top that shows your current and potential morale bonus for the purchase.

It may seem like there's lots of stuff, but once it's put into an interface it should be easier to understand. Think along the lines of the franchise mode in some console sports games - you go to a "stadium" page and choose some upgrades and options at the start of the season, and then go play the rest of the game.

Why not read over the changes, take it in, ask questions about things you don't understand and then see how the actual User Interface and implementation works before reacting as if we're adding 10 hours of things to do a day.... as that's simply not the case.

Today equipment costs money and stamina/morale are free.

In the new world equipment is free and stamina/morale cost money.

This doesn't really seem worth a financial reset and signifcantly complicating a non-core aspect of the game potentially alienating many customers.

Honestly I think people would rather get rid of money than complicate it. No one is here to spend time dealing with finances - keep focus on the core game and don't lose people over this.

I have a good question, when is GLB going to start paying me for all the work I do for my team? This all use to be fun but now it is like a full time job.

this adds nothing but more work and time just to stay competitive.

I think the problem is that many people do not understand why you are making the game more complex, and by extension- less fun for team owners. What does the degradation of stadium sections add to the game from a point of view regarding fun.
