So why NOT do it that way?
+SA pieces didn't get nerfed
Yes, re read my post
People who made their plans, and bought non Nerfed SAs AEQ, may have done so in light of the nerfed %AEQ they bought on other pieces. Losing the one upsets their plans for all.
So nerfed or not, doesnt matter, its going to annoy folks.
We totally reset VAs not long ago for similar reason, same logic would apply here.
Making more people happy is a plus and there is no negative.

Good question. I'm guessing probably not, just because they don't make pieces with a +% prefix available anymore. Although if you had a piece of +2% Break Block +3% Force Fumble or something, I'm guessing you could trade in the Force Fumble suffix for Big Hit SA.

Your post was pretty unintelligible, to be honest. I see what you're saying, though. Someone might have bought Monster Hit because they wanted to stack it with +25% Force Fumble. A full AEQ reset is not the answer, though. That SA piece is still useful. If an SA piece was good before the +% nerf, it's still good now (in most cases better). Offering a full AEQ refund would mostly just serve bail out people who either made bad choices with SAs or bad choices to build/enhance expensive equipment rather than shop for it. That would piss me off as someone who has chosen AEQ and budgeted BTs carefully.

Totally different. 1. VAs are normally only fully reset when other VAs were buffed 2. Unlike VAs in a normal season, you can still sell all of your AEQ if you want. (You just won't get all your BT back.) So you still have a way to get other AEQ if you feel a change of plans is needed.
Originally posted by Catch22 #3 - for refund purposes, we will figure out total amount invested into piece including # of shopping refreshes if possible. Not sure if we will be able to account for shopping tokens but should try to if possible. If someone only spent 6 bonus tokens to get a +3, +5% piece, then they get 6 BT's back (plus any upgrades). If someone created a piece, they get full creation cost back.
So there's gonna be a refund of % pieces?
If I bought a 2% hold block +3 Strength with 2 upgrades I get 103 (55+24+24) BT back??

In your opinion
But not necessarily in the opinion of the person who bought it with the old AEQ system in mind.
To reset this so narrowly, with a type of gear so widely used, is just asking for unhappy customers.
As for the idea that this would somehow be an affront to the elite who never made a mistake with AEQ, really? You relish the misery of others that much do you? Not sure how that makes alot of sense, no offense. They aren't likely to make any better choices now, but they would be happier about the choice being based on current AEQ schemes not now outlawed ones. But I imagine, would hope, that there would be fewer who would feel that way than would be off put by the torpedoing of the AEQ plans if the current narrow reset is the one they use.
Wow, that's quite the drama you're producing. You might as well ask for a SP reset too, since people built builds with powerful +% AEQ in mind as well.
