University Elite #1- The real deal teams play here
Game of the Week: Universal Studios Monsters (24) v. Nebraska Blackshirts (14): The last time these two Western Conference titans tussled, the game went to overtime and Nebraska won 17-10. After their game one matchup, both teams felt that they left points on the field and should have scored more. In today's game, the Universal Studios Monsters dominated the time of possession. The Monsters knew that they only way to slow down the high scoring Blackshirts was to sit on the football and limit Nebraska's offensive possessions.
Offensive Player of the Week: (HB) Unstoppable Force - owned by DavyJonesLocker: The first match-up between the VOLGOGRAD BLACK ARMY and Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts ended in overtime in a 10-10 tie. DavyJonesLocker believed that he should have won that game and set out to prove his point in the rematch. The Pirate Ghosts did a lot of little things right in today's game that added up to a 20-9 victory over the fearsome BLACK ARMY. (HB) Unstoppable Force rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown and broke 9 tackles while doing so.
Defensive Player of the Week: Snot Rocket -owned by Chysil: You all better hope that American Muscle does not sneak into the playoffs this season. The defensive game-plans being laid down by bamastrac are magnifique!! In today's game (FS) Snot Rocket had 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 hurry and 2 reverse pancakes.
Special Teams Player of the Week: (HB) Rasheed Dukes - owned by h1bvisa: Hammer Time laid waste to the Leandrinhos WOOOWOOOOWW V8. (HB) Rasheed Dukes had 6 punt return touchdowns.

University Elite #1- The final week of the season was breathtaking
Game of the Week: All The King's Men (6) v. VOLGOGRAD BLACK ARMY (3) : This nail-biter of a game was not determined until overtime. As regulation time ended in a 3-3 deadlock, the fans at Rick Parry Memorial Coliseum were thrilled at the defense played by their All The King's Men team. King of Bling left his owner's suite and walked up to the cheapest seat section in his stadium and joined those rowdy fans to watch overtime. In over time, first the BLACK ARMY and then All The King's Men had unsuccessful offensive possessions. Both team's defenses had been dominant throughout this game, so it was apropos that a defensive play decided the game. Immediately after this interception by All The King's Men's cornerback, INT King, the home team kicked a field goal and won the game:

Offensive Player of the Week: (HB) Terrance Thurston - owned by sborats: Hammer Time has completed its second round through the Eastern Conference with 5 straight victories and earned the second place in the Eastern Conference and a home game in the first round of the playoffs. In today's game, (HB) Terrance Thurston rushed for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Defensive Player of the Week: (DT) Werewolf of London -owned by Mat0215: Free the Weed has never beaten the Universal Studios Monsters. Today, Free the Weed's defensive game plan was good enough to hold the Monsters to a measly 6 points. Normally, that would be good enough to secure the win for Free the Weed, but today the Monsters' defense pitched a shut out. (DT) Werewolf of London was a terror on the defensive line. (DT) Werewolf of London had 7 tackles and 3 reverse pancakes.
Special Teams Player of the Week: (K) Muscle Kicker - owned by yodder: American Muscle has completed its second round of games against the Western Conference and is undefeated. In today's game against Nebraska, American Muscle got all of the offense it needed from (K) Muscle Kicker's 4 field goals.
