There are no easy games over in that conference - Muscle and Wolves 5th and 6th ( and that could just as easily be a perm any 2 from 6 ) shows how tough and even the teams are there. As most of the teams seem to be in this for the long run things look very bright for this age group. Id expect half a dozen to go WL or top Natty Pro - and I expect AM will be one of those

Defensive Player of the Week: (LB) Lestor Sinclair -owned by bamastrac: All The King's Men's offense had never been shut out. No shutouts in Rookie, Prep or University leagues over the past three seasons; the King's Men offense always found a way to score. The American Muscle defense, coordinated by bamastrac, set out to change that in today's game. Nobody is better than bamastrac at taking the wind out of the sails of a high flying offense. Today's shut out victory over All The King's Men was bamastrac and the American Muscle's way of showing that they are still a force to be reckoned with in this League. THE MINXY REPORT-- GAME TWELVE

University Elite #1- The sprint to the playoffs starts today.

Game of the Week: Hammer Time (9) v. VOLGOGRAD BLACK ARMY (7): Well done Hammer Time, well done. The BLACK ARMY's quarterback, Gun Slinger, dropped back to pass 35 times today, but Hammer Time's defense held the BLACK ARMY to a paltry 46 total passing yards. Going into the game, the BLACK ARMY had remained unbeaten for 30 straight games. Then...Break it down! Stop, Hammer Time! The BLACK ARMY was held scoreless until the 4th quarter, but even an impressive touchdown pass by (QB) Gun Slinger was not enough to overtake the 9 point lead built up by Hammer Time's kicker, Quinn Aviles.

Offensive Player of the Week: (QB) KPs Styx -owned by Styx58: Minxy has the WORST damn travel agent! Minxy was scheduled to live broadcast from the American Muscle v. Free the Weed game this afternoon. But, due to a ticketing mistake, she was flown to a strange city and ended up watching a game in a much less competitive League #2. Just when Minxy thought all was lost, she recognized the friendly face of KP, owner of the Paris Bull Dawgs. KP was kind enough to invite Minxy up to the visiting owner's suite at FBG Sky Dome to watch her Bull Dawgs dismantle the ***Official*** Footballguys. KP was her usual charming self and it was great to spend the afternoon with an old friend. (QB) KPs Styx was incredible and rushed for 432 yards and 9 rushing touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week: (DE) Tate Wildeman Rafiki -owned by husker4life: The Nebraska Blackshirts are gunning for number one seed in the playoffs. The Rhode Island Red Wolves were hardly an obstacle for the Blackshirts. Nebraska shut out the Red Wolves with heart stopping defense. (DE) Tate Wildeman Rafiki made a huge impact with 8 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss and 3 reverse pancakes.

Special Teams Player of the Week: (HB) Man Made Monster - owned by armadafalls: The Yukon Huskies defense is a knuckle buster. You can't throw the ball against the Huskies and its hard to find a hole to rush the ball against them. So if you hope to put points on the board, you better have a good special teams unit. Today, armadafalls, owner of the Universal Studios Monsters, begged his special teams coordinator, Anax42, to find a way to get some special teams points. Anax42 delivered. (HB) Man Made Monster returned 3 punts for touchdowns and staked the Monsters to a nice lead which was converted into a win.
