THE MINXY REPORT-- GAME TEN
Prep Competitive #1- Where each week the competition gets tougher and every single win actually means a hell of a lot.
Game of the Week: American Muscle (7) v. Rhode Island Red Wolves (6): This was the game that most fans had circled on their calendar since the schedule was released. The best defense in the league (Red Wolves) versus the league's top rated team (American Muscle). This game was a throwback to the defense focused, low scoring games your grand-dad used to listen to on the radio when he was a kid. Not surprisingly, the Red Wolves defense did its job admirably, holding the American Muscle offense to a scant 136.5 yards of offense. The American Muscle defense was a close second best in its performance holding the Rhode Island offense to two scoring drives and forcing both of those to end in field goals. But, American Muscle was the beneficiary of a lightning strike super long touchdown run that decided the game:

Offensive Player of the Week: (QB) Bela Lugosi's Dracula -owned by donovandeighton: The Prep Competitive League #1's top scoring quarterback added more touchdowns to his record in this game including this beautiful touchdown pass to the league's top scoring wide receiver, The Cat and the Canary:

Defensive Player of the Week: (CB) Leo Robles -owned by DavyJonesLocker: Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts have really had to run the gauntlet the past few weeks as game after game they have faced the Eastern conferences' best teams. What has been made abundantly clear is that these Pirate Ghosts can defend any offense in the East. (CB) Leo Robles made his presence known to the Black Parrot M.M offense early and often. (CB) Leo Robles made 11 tackles and broke up 5 passes thrown by the usually very accurate (QB) General Levy.
Special Teams Player of the Week: (HB) Cement Shoes, Pho Q! - owned by The Hitman: The Devil's Brigade can put points on the board in so many different ways. In this game the Brigade used (HB) Cement Shoes, Pho Q! as a devastating weapon on punt returns as they converted 19 punts into 528.5 return yards and 6 punt return touchdowns.

1. Universal Studios Monsters
2. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts- the Western Conference team with the best record against the Eastern Conference
3. Rhode Island Red Wolves - two tough losses in a row
4. American Muscle- riding high after the most impressive win of the season so far
5. Paris Bull Dawgs - its awfully tough to keep this team off the power rankings top 5

Enjoy your vacation Bud, this is a nice bonus but nothing that should take away from your family. Oh and... Out of town on a boat, sounds a hell of a lot better then Missouri with 95 degree heat, 75% Humidity, in a suit, at a wedding, with my girl friends family.
