The man, author and speaker Bryan Sharpe, also a vlogger whose handle is Hotep Jesus, appears to be a conservative by every account.

When reached for comment, Sharpe tells TheBlaze, “Racism is a business. Thanks to the ridiculousness of BLM activists, it’s the new publicity stunt — and I think I just proved it.”

I liked the part where Starbucks plans to close 8,000 stores for racial-bias training for its workers.

You can't make it up

They should seize the opportunity and go the other direction, cater to the racists and racially insensitive.

I would market an all white coffee, commercials and ads that say we don't serve our coffee black any more.

This story is proof, that "what goes around, comes around". The Irony of a liberal and socialist owned company like Starbuck's, who actually politically supports and promulgates this exact kind of shit, is now fixing to get their own asses handed to them from payouts of something they helped politically to create, is just, sweet justice in my opinion.

Because 1 day of "training" changes everything.

Starbucks is willing to give up 6 million in sales and pay X amount for the training so apparently they believe it will change the world.

Seattle Police Department has announced they’re passing out riot gear to all personnel after learning from informants that around 90% of anarchists are in fact coffee addicts.

In other news, Home Depo stock shot up 40% in anticipation of a one-day nationwide rush on plywood.

There's literally a place in Portland where you can stand at Starbucks and see two other Starbucks.

I think they'll be fine.

Why do you invent context?

There wasn't a single post about how this incident was going to bankrupt the company or how closing stores for a day was going to be the ruin of Starbucks. They are simply giving up 6 million dollars, plus cost of training and given their complete lack of backbone and corporate desire to take a political stand, they are likely to settle this case with a non disclosure agreement so they can maintain that image.

I think the training needs to be on when and how to allow people to use the restroom.

Also, when and how to politely inform people that they need to buy something or leave.

And I like Starbucks Pikes Peak coffee, or whatever their normal brew is. I work in Airports, work nights a lot, and a Large coffee with a shot of espresso is my normal pre shift purchase. They call it a "redeye". I call it "Liquid plumber"

It ensures that an hour or so later I get to take a good 10 minute poo break.
