paypal works perfectly absolutely every time until the day it doesn't and you discover there's zero recourse.

I once mailed a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card and two books of green stamps to Portland with an offer to swap it for flex. They mailed me back a politely worded letter of decline.

I had one transaction go sideways (here, actually) and spent the better parts of 4 months trying to talk to ANYTHING human at PayPal to get resolution. I finally screwed them over by having my bank recall my payment to them. Amazingly they called ME to ask what was up with that. A real human. Guess it only matters to them when THEY'RE the one's getting screwed over. I got my account (with them) cancelled and settled finally and won't use them again.

No. I have used my bank (debit) card ever since. Yes, it seems like it goes through PayPal but the receipt I get shows Warrior Games as the transactor so even if WG uses paypal to get their bucks, it's not the same as actually USING paypal by having to have an actual account with them. I also hear both Prepaid cards (major credit types) work as well.
The MAIN difference is whether or not you SIGN UP with PayPal... create an actual account with them. IF you do not, then any of the mentioned payment options are still available (Mastercard, Visa, ect, ect, ect). You do not have to have an account with PayPal to purchase flex. I've been doing it for years now.
