I think you're thinking of Gendry. Stannis/Melisandre had him sacrificed.

Pod is just a random dude.

Oh, likely impossible because Pod would be dead.

I just figured Cersei would become some kind of temporary half measure. It seems like her actual claim to the throne is weak, though I guess anyone that could oppose it is dead.

I don't think she really needs a claim.

The entire official Baratheon line is now dead. The last queen is also dead. No one really has a claim on the throne at all (not that they have really explained the laws of succession to my recollection either).

Cersei potentially has a tiny claim as a former queen, but that's not why she just became queen imo. She has the power to take it at this point. No one else anywhere near King's Landing does. So she took it. Just like Robert Baratheon did not have a claim to the throne either, but he took it from the Mad King.

I was also curious about the logistics of the dragons.

Did they fly the whole way across the ocean? What did they eat? Did they have like ships full of goats?

I imagine they have a very long range, as evidenced when the black dragon took Dany from the stadium ambush half way across the continent in one shot.

I would think they are shadowing the fleet along the coast, randomly flying out to the ships and then back to land to sleep and eat.

I'll have to go back and watch again and turn the volume way up to hear what Ned's sister says to him. Pretty much what we think, I'm sure.

Arya popping up was pretty solid too. She, as in her character she was hiding in, was in the episode earlier when Jaime was talking to Bronn trying to hook him up with those two girls. Her and Jaime made eye contact if I'm not mistaken. But again, I'll have to go back and re-watch that too.

Yeah. That was her and they made eye contact. Confusing that she still has access to faces.

If my math is right, we now have 1/2 of the Iron Islands, all of Dany's armies, Dorne, and what's left of the Tyrell's all going against Cersei. Am I about right there?

Will Arya, or Jaime kill Cersei? Will Arya torment her with the faces of her dead kids and dad?

Yeah, but the Tyrell army is still at full strength. They've lost their heirs, but their troops are fresh. Cersei is pretty fucked, but I don't see Jaime killing her.

Also, why was Varys on the boat?

Did he sail from Meereen to Westeros to make a pact with Dorne, then sail all the way back to Meereen, just to sail all the way back to Westeros?

and all in 1 hr 15 mins too

BTW, the reason Robert would have killed him is, again, depending on the unknown laws of succession, Jon Snow may have a stronger claim to the throne than even Dany does.

Jon Snow is the only living son of the first born son of the Mad King. Dany is the daughter of the Mad King. In some systems, that would give precedence to Jon, even as an illegitimate son. It was hinted that Westeros might carry that system when the houses of the north started swearing fealty to Jon instead of Sansa (edit: thinking him the illegitimate son of Ned and preferring that to the younger, legitimate daughter).

Either way, not a given that Jon and Dany are going to team up.

The prophecy the witch told Cersei when she was young was that all her children would die, and she would be killed by a little brother. I think Jaime kills Cersei because he sees the monster she has become. Or Tyrion kills her when gets back to Westeros.

Pod is not a Baratheon bastard, that was Gendry. Pod is just a squire that Tywin assigned to Tyrion because he was a fuck up.

They jumped around the timelines a whole lot. Ayras storyline could have happened months earlier than the siege of Riverrun.

I think Littlefinger still has a big part to play. He will be able to play with Sansas mind and turn her against Jon.

Will Bran be able to convince people that Jon is really half Targaryn. What will Danys response to this be since he will technically have a better claim to the Iron throne than her? Or will Dany and Jon just get married(its the Targaryen way)

I was thinking a Dany and Littlefinger marriage would make a lot of sense.

He wants the throne, and has (afaik) command of one of the larger armies left. Jon probably wouldn't want to marry her and run off to Kings Landing.

Though I guess him adding Sansa to his dream of the throne puts a wrench in it.

Also hinted at in like Season 1, when someone said he would burn the Seven Kingdoms to ash if he got to be king of the ash.

You corrected a mistake with a mistake.

Stannis/Melisandre wanted to sacrifice Gendry, but Davos saves him and the last we see of Gendry he is rowing a small boat out to sea. As far as we know he is still alive, and the closest thing to an heir to the Baratheon version of the throne.

I don't know man. Jaime loves her. Unless she goes nuts as Queen and starts wantonly killing people like the Mad King, hard to see him doing that.

Tyrion on the other hand... Cersei has tried to have him killed more than once and they hate each other.

Assuming he is telling the truth of course, which he never seems to do.
