I'm just waiting for the Pistol formation, trips right, and the spread formation with trips.

It's just a little bemusing to me. Was it just a bad business model? Or perhaps bad business decisions from the higher ups? I feel like no one outside of this site has even heard of GLB. Poor advertising?

Also, GLB2 makes no sense to me. Why would you divide your already dwindling audience into two games? Also, the GLB2 site is confusing as hell and nothing about it makes sense.

Everything is here for a good game and a good time. The element of playing with other people, and having your own players and teams and coordinators is engaging and enticing for football fans and gaming fans. So what gives? Was it maybe more active in the offseason, with recruiting and such? Is it worth sticking around until next season?

The extra free player aided recruiting this off season. A good time to start a team!
Most other seasons lately recruiting has been brutal.
But we still play!

Early on, the game was changing, all the lower leagues were new. Time passes and who really wants to repeat the lower level leagues again. The killer right now is the almost a year it takes to play again.

I log in now and again and if I thought i could build a team in less time than now (by alot) I would play a bit more - now its just a drag so I log in everysoften and prod my player or two along build wise.

Tbh, there's a vocal minority here that are a bunch of assholes and there's no point in posting in the forums just to get trolled. Most players use PMs, instant messaging or team forums. No point in coming here to get trolled.

This and the game has outlasted 99% of the online games made during this time period. It has had an awesome run and still going

The biggest problem I had with this game is that I could never get my friends interested in it. The learning curve is way too sharp. If you want to build an elite dot, you need to know a hell of a lot, and no one is sharing information. I could see that as a difficult business model to maintain.

On the other hand, building a dot in GLB2 seems almost too straight-forward. There is no skill involved. Once you set your player's initial build, there's nothing to do but wait for points to roll in.

I had this problem too. I tried to show a few people GLB like it was the greatest thing I had ever discovered... none of them found interest.

Anyways, if it is worth it, if anyone wants to link up for a team and some dots next season, I have a ton of flex sitting around.

I'm interested. Only as a dot-builder, though. Coordinating almost single-handedly ruined my life
