Folks put more points into SA's than SP's.

Everyone reached 48 in something and then moved to the next attribute.

It would have been horrible for the Texas group... they had to wait 8 seasons before they cared about the game.

This game was incredibly exciting and fun.

Stupid me created a K as my first player, and couldn't get him signed anywhere. Stupid me also didn't know how to build him up, so I lost over a season of EXP getting passed around from team to team.

Bought a team in Season 3, named it Tonga Thunderbirds in Oceania AA. Brought in an OC and DC, and recruited my hiney off. Made friends and rivalries that I still remember. Built up a very strong running team. Went a perfect 20-0 in Season 5, and Went 19-1 in Season 8 without using I-Slam. Then Bort nerfed the running game into oblivion in Season 9. Went from 19-1 in AAA to 0-16 in OPL. Dropped to AAA, and the team disbanded.

Had fun on some other teams until the league structure was changed around Season 14. That killed the game for me.

the Gurupies got here around day s1 20. probobly 25 of us from another sports website. The problem back then was, you were stuck behind S1 teams until pro, and there was no plateau.

built our firrst farm team in s8 when we figured out we needed to feed indy. we built it a season early and played in DLeagues and entered s8 as level 16's in rookie. (learned this from macedonia diodochi)(oakland suppressors was the overflow team, the first i know of), we built it in a forum and i promised everyone i wouldnt name it The Dirty Sanchez but i did anyway.

-wins and trophys were huge, if you lost you got hammered in the forums.

- we had a MIT math guy (stray doug), several math guys actually, him and ref figured out the formula and strategy for building, capping, training.

I miss scotchtape0 and gwelch

Having someone post in a "D" League team forum demanding that their player should be a starter on the depth chart.

I remember back in S7 trolling a guy like that. He actually apologized in the team forum after I trolled him into thinking he had hurt the team's feelings.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way - in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
