Yeah, well, we're still working on the crystal ball technology.

Hopefully it will be completed soon. Maybe we can roll it out with our mind reading algorithm.

I take this post as meaning you're working on GLB1.

Moving people's teams that they paid for, while disregarding the rules and systems in place, based on how competitive we think they will be seems like a pretty slippery slope.

WL teams with CPU or incomplete rosters have been moved out for many, many seasons now.

There are definitely some inconsistencies with the way WL works and how teams demote/stay/promote. There were times where the loser in Pro promoted when the Winner declined, but then the following season a WL team stayed in WL and the loser in Pro didnt demote. Its just inconsistent. Eucrhrid is at least trying to move teams around in pro, the problem is there arent enough regional pro teams that are worth a shit to be in pro, so there is 0 difference between a CPU team or a team with dots 580 days old, the end results are the same.

But why should those owners not be allowed to stay in their league this season?

Because they aren't competitive.

Because it rips off the gaming experience of the teams and agents that own dots on the teams that play against them.

Because it rips off the teams and agents of dots on teams that SHOULD be in that league and WOULD be competitive.

What do I win for answering the question correctly?

The "Rules" cop-out. Yay!

Not like the "Rules" can't be modified to address such concerns and make the top Pro leagues as competitive as possible.

I dunno, just a thought.

i've been saying for years that a roster count of some kind needs to be including in the "rules". chemistry was added to penalize teams who have high turnover, so if by day 48, a team is still mostly cpus, then even if they turned over a magical rock and found enough players, chemistry would still doom them for the season.

Promotion and demotion rules exist for a reason. Surely you can see how disastrous and impractical it would be for admins to go through and place every team based on how competitive we think they will be next season?

this shows a fundamental failure to understand how the game needs to be balanced in order to succeed.

Just owning a team should not be sufficient enough to stink up a league and not be competitive. #1 that devalues team ownership and #2 it devalues the enjoyment for every other team and player in the league. This has always been an issue, and now its exasperated even more due to the relative low amount of teams actually fielding players.

Create a team ownership bank .Owners can store their old teams in,sort of like a closet. Bort probably knows a little about those, I think I saw him coming out of one once.Less clutter= moar baloons !

Careful what you wish for Wise, a few more real teams challenging yours could get you demoted even further into the Newb leagues. I'd worry about making top 4 in your own conference and making the cut just to stay National then who's owning and running other teams in GLB.
