But why should those owners not be allowed to stay in their league this season? The promotion and demotion rules say that they should be in their current leagues. They paid to renew their teams. Maybe they have future plans, they definitely didn't ask to be demoted or replaced.

Moving people's teams that they paid for, while disregarding the rules and systems in place, based on how competitive we think they will be seems like a pretty slippery slope.

Easy, new rule, if your Pro team is full on CPU on day 48 it will get swapped out....

Announce it now, new rule going forward everybody wins.

yup, or allow pepole to boost to 79 once they hit level 73, and then they can be competitive in pro and not have to sit rotting in regional pro.

yes, this would be awesome. Would cut about 2 months off the building time. Would have to get remaining TP assigned to keep it even.
