I was planning on just having a bye week at the end of the season before playoffs start during which all the tournaments would have their final game. I could reset free scrim points at that point too, I suppose, if people would actually use them. I guess more teams will be involved in the playoffs now, so it'd maybe be more useful to more people?

Alternatively, we could have a bye week on like week 8 or something so people could scrim or grab a breather at the halfway point.

Extending the season to start on day 3 would just make the already long pre-season period even longer...nah.

I think the best answer to this would be next season start all new dots at lvl 19 & eliminate rookie. Then the next season start all dots at the next season equivalent, keep redoing this until you get to maybe level 60? Teams would be full, easier to be competitive, and a shorter but still relevant build cycle.

I like this.....maybe just do away with the bottom 3 league tiers over time, still have to pay for boosts thru those 3 levels, but add 3 seasons to plateau so the dots career is the same length....

This would get rid of the horribly boring first few seasons when dots are totally unbalanced & the sim is hardly watchable...
