Alternatively, we could have a bye week on like week 8 or something so people could scrim or grab a breather at the halfway point.

Extending the season to start on day 3 would just make the already long pre-season period even longer...nah.

or just do the roster changes a few days early so we can retire on day 39 and create day 40.
