Because its "idiotic" to point out that if an Admin and an Owner of GLB Classic are committed to the game that they should post that more often?

Do you even lift?

oh larry, you poor, misguided soul.

it would be phenomenal if they would post announcements from time to time reaffirming an interest in the game so that it doesn't continue to bleed off agents at the same rate, many of whom leave not because they're bored with the game but because they don't want to invest time or money into a product that doesn't appear to be supported or even liked by its creators.

i'm not sure how this "refutes" anyone though. people are extremely justified right now in doubting the long-term or even short-term existence of this game. your contentious mindset against these people, as evidenced by your charged and ill-considered wording, is what i've been mocking.

i probably shouldn't have used the word "idiotic" ... i like misguided better. i mean, it's not like you're a half-wit who has to pretend to be a college literary professor to hide the fact that you don't understand the difference between sarcasm and satire.

so for that, i apologize.

Just like I suggested. Glad that we could finally agree.

Read it again--IF the Senior Admin and an Owner were to pop in from time to time saying "Glad you all are here, we love the game too" that would be all the rebuttal that "the sky is falling crowd" needed.

"the sky is falling" crowd has long since departed. i think those of us that are left see the cracks in the ceiling and wonder what day it will be when the support beams give way.

i'm glad you could agree that your suggestion, which reeks of complete originality and of not being the same exact suggestion that's been suggested for several years now, was a good one. pat yourself on the back, eat a milkbone, lick your nuts. good larry. good boy. thanks for saving glb for us

I blame GLB's deflated balls

Its all fine and dandy for DD or any of the admins to say that the game is not dead and will be around "as long as people are still playing it." That is nice, but the main issues with this game will never be addressed because at this point what would the incentive be for WG? There is a small but dedicated fan base that loves this game, me included, but is it really an audience worth pandering to? The time to fix those things has long since passed and GLB 2 was probably their effort at that.

I know this, I wont be quitting anytime soon. GLB classic is the only game I have played where spending money on it didn't bother me a bit. Will I buy more flex in the future, well more than likely yes. Theres still a good group of people playing that are heavily invested...I STILL LOVE THE GAME.

+1

lol, someone sure took their correction personally.

although now you seem to be thinking that sarcasm and satire are mutually exclusive, so i guess i've got to correct you again.

glb 2 was surely their effort to do that. instead of moving forward on evolving glb they decided to move on from it. too many long standing users are just too stubborn to realize that.

i am not sure how anyone who actually cares about their money can justify spending more for this game. to want to have some guarantee the game will still be around in the near future is ridiculous. the "game" as we have it is already seriously depleted and it will no longer be around because there are not enough people continuing to playing it at the levels required.

I am honestly surprised we are still kicking now.
