35 minutes. It was the perfect storm--it was a weekend day (so no work), I slept in, had a great meal before, and then the final element was mis-reading the clock during the attempt. I was thinking I was gunning for a 40-minute completion time, but once completed I realized I had done it in 35 minutes.
I can never wrap my head around lighter weight and more reps. What motivates you to keep going?

Likely depends on your age and/or what you are exercising/lifting for.
The shit I did when I was in my early 20s ..both lifting and eating. I look back and have to laugh. Now? It's all about total body strength, cardio, core, flexibility.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Herschel Walker claims his size/strength came SOLELY from pushups and dips--that he never really lifted until college and never lifted *seriously* until he was in the Pros. I'm noticing doing this deck-of-cards thingy on a every-other-night basis is helping my chest and shoulders and I don't have to get dressed for the gym. drive there, drive back, etc. I'm going to give it another month and see if it continues.
