Yes, I had often wondered what field she went into when her days as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader were over.

Haha, my wife is too Sicilian to be Cowboys cheerleader material.

But srsly, that is enough protein for someone that weighs 440 lbs. Are you stronger than a lineman?

If she has a background in animal science and experience with cattle rations, she could be my new best friend.

This thread has been a good motivator for me. I'm now running about 4 days a week, and lifting 3 days a week. My running form is better, and although I still haven't even been tempted to try our challenge yet, I'll do so as originally agreed to (by the end of summer).

In regard to the pushups, I'm going to re-set that challenge to July since nobody else had much interest in it. I'm pretty sure I could knock out the "200 pushups in an hour" standard that was floated, but I'm not sure we ever had buy-in as to what it was we were going to do with that challenge any way.

Anybody else have updates/thoughts?

I am thinking about how all that exercise and competition drove Bruce Jenner into having life changing changes and became a woman!

I've been doing pushups daily, aside from a few days when I wasn't feeling too well. Tried to do diamond pushups one day, but that's some weird tension on the wrist. Don't know if I wasn't doing them correctly or what, but didn't feel right.

I "ran" one lap around the track yesterday. It took me 126 sec. I would need someone chasing me to break 100 or training and stretching.

Hey, that's a start. I'm still afraid to take that first timed run for that distance because I still know that my legs don't have a "base" from which to run. That's ok--it's going to be a long summer and I'll time it before summer is over.

I'm jogging to build that "base". Then I'll do a timed sprint.
