Warrior General Games

We all know that the pro leagues are anything but competitive, so I decided to take a look at all of the teams in pro and their current roster situation. By the looks of it there are roughly 60 teams in the 4 leagues that appear to be competitive(~50 human players) and I bet you can eliminate half of them or more from the ranks of actually being able to compete. Out of those that can compete lets say 30, there are probably really only about 15 that are truly good teams. Add in the 32 WL teams, which I assume but haven't looked, fit the above categories, and we have under 50 teams competing at the top levels of this game.

That is scary. I know none of this is new to most of us, but it is depressing seeing all of these cpu and unfilled rosters at the upper levels of this game.

As a side note SEA is by far the easiest conference in GLB Pro with only 3 competitive teams.

it's a realistic solution tbh. It would be cool to take the 4 pro winners and have them play each other to determine the glb pro champion instead of the WL.

Awful idea, it's the only league where you get a decent game every week. Get rid of WL and what remaining user base you have will be gone.

Your definition of decent must be far different than mine judging by a number of the WL scores.

And this whole "do X and eerbody gonna quit" bullshit is a big part of why this game is in the shape it's in. Every time someone suggested something to improve this game "omg peeple gonna quit don't do it!!!1!".

For fuck's sake, KP's team was in WL last season. Please stop pretending WL is still prestigious.

I can understand that side of it too, but the rest of the userbase is already dead or dieing. Catering to keep one league alive is not an idea that can sustain the game for very long. A longterm solution to save the entirety of Pro would be a much better idea. I'm not saying kill WL is that idea but it should be one of the ideas on the table. Something needs to be done sooner or later. Right now all we are doing is slowly bleeding out.

Yeah, by their logic we should still have 17 Reg Pro leagues, 8 Pro leagues, 12 rookie leagues, PW copper...

Same old shit. Don't do that which is necessary in order to keep 5 people from leaving that are threatening to leave but actually aren't going anywhere.

I would go a step further and say PW and Casual need to be shitcanned. With the addition of GLB2 it's pretty stupid to keep casual and no one plays PW any longer. PW gold is mostly CPU dots.

Hell, there's 8 CPU TEAMS in PW Gold.

waiting until WL is completely watered down will be way too late to fix anything.

tbh casual pro is pretty fucking solid. good competition and a great forum. the rest of casual is pretty terrible. there were like 4 of us that won games in my age group. chocolate blaze, my dino, an all passing multi team and an all running team.

should definitely ditch peewee though. been saying it since day 1.

lets not turn this into focusing on that one idea. How about thinking about what can improve the pro leagues?
