Look my dumb frog ass has dumped cash into this for a very long time. Yup I am addicted to football. Will still be here for awhile but even a frog can see the open tundra out there. Shit I may be the last idiot left in here when day comes but I feel the fun is still here.

Once, long ago-----------------------it was thought that old users could bring in/keep new ones. I still try to do that but even the best I know are bailing.

For a game once thought of as the SHIT and GOAT. New members will not stay if WE the GLB legends don't stick together for the cause

Yes I suck but do not stretch or get banned so ...

Aside from GLB which yes, in any comparison to any other mmo that is still live, has been abandoned. Hell an update every few months would be nice. GLB2 sucks and everyone knows it, please abandon that travesty of a game.

Other games? Well Motor City Online was one of my favorites ever, EA doesn't realize what a mistake it was giving up on that game. They decided The Sims was more important. But they could have easily maintained both games. Motor City Online was awesome and if you played it you would agree

I grew up in the game world with MechWarriors online. Hell dude at work used to hook a server up so we could fight guys from Japan. But GLB-its replacement football for us junkies-true football addicts. No its not real or FF but when you need that football fix-it was here. Well I still need the fix so as many new or returning agents as I can meet and greet-I will-damn its football who don't luv that!

Stupid frog will stay here but, always a but with a frog-it does need a tweak now and then for us that indulge in everything football

I think everyone wonders why and deserves some kind of respect. The agents here have helped build this game. Just do a few things we all have suggested. Think of it like a vacation. Going back home.

I was a HUGE fan of MCO, and still miss it.

Dude.. I never could bring myself to play the online game since I grew up with the original board and RP game. Nothing could take the place of sitting in the local hobby and comic shop (also ran by us geeks) and playing for hours and, sometimes, days. Give me DEATH FROM ABOVE in a Vulcan anyday!

Can't do it, NFSW isn't even close to MCO. MCO had real muscle cars, the ability to change out almost any part of the engine, suspension, drivetrain, etc. MCO was complete customization. NFS is like a cheap arcade version

GLB is still being supported. I'm sorry if not having any impending changes fits your definition of abandonment, but if you're looking for a football MMO that's still in development, check over here: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com

Euchrid I am confused, you say GLB is still be supported, has your quote from earlier this season changed any? Are you and the staff still just maintaining the game, or making any improvements that are still needed?

thanks

I'm sorry if I was unclear there. The full line was "If it's a question of checking in to field questions and advice about the GLB1 stuff he 'should' be working on, I'm guessing he's gonna be too busy for that for a while."
People post all the time about what they think Bort should be doing. My point was if people want Bort to come hang out in the forums so they can yell at him directly about all the things he's doing wrong (instead of telling each other what he's doing wrong, as happens most of the time in the forums), I don't really think that's something that he'd be interested in.

Of course GLB1 is a priority, and I wouldn't say we've abandoned it entirely. (I mean, if we have I'd kinda like to know, that would free up a lot of my time. )
But it's true, GLB1 is not what the development team is spending their time on at the moment. We're maintaining GLB1 and we're developing other games.

Everything I said there still applies, I'm sorry if my choice of words this week was unclear.
YES, we're still maintaining GLB Classic. General support issues are still addressed, if something major breaks it gets fixed. NO, there are no planned changes to GLB Classic, at least not in the near future.

Can you at least shut off the Bugs Ticketing system for GLB Classic? When submitted bugs go 4+ months without even a response, it's obvious the system isn't being used any more, so why even have it active? If there are no planned changes, then there are effectively no "bugs", so I see no reason to keep the Bugs Ticketing joke alive.

Well, there are no planned changes NOW. But I can't say with 100% certainty that none of the stuff submitted in Bugs Tickets is ever going to be addressed. If/when we're able to go back in and make little changes, having them collected in Bugs Tickets would/will be very helpful. Probably not soon, but eventually it could come in very handy.

Personally, if you're looking for things to shut down, I'd think the Suggestions Forum might be a better place to start. But that's just me.
