From what I've tested, a CB with avoid fake and Super Vision is far more efficient than a CB with deflect ball%. But thats only my opinion. I try to have both (Defect ball and avoid fake) with a make tackle %.
You could just have vision, agility, SV, deflect %, avoid fake %, and MT %.

Pretty much. But people are still debating which ones you need when you could just have all of them.

I feel like you could have almost all of these things before the changes... I think the biggest change with arch's was the fact that CBs have jumping/tackling for days now.

yup. sim was never re-balanced after everyone (the D for this discussion) was given those extra SPs. which is why the tackle-break WRs died. it was an argument we never got past catch to bort

Yeah, I raised that question in the DC forum a while back. Anecdotally I haven't seen much difference in a corner's performance when adding a piece of deflect ball or even a second one.

stacking is definitely overrated. its tough to argue not having a single piece though because ... what else are you gonna do with that piece.

That's not why break tackle WRs died. They died when Bort changed the lead mechanics such that almost every WR comes to a momentary stop on the catch. Kudos to Westwind for making me aware of that through the parsed replay coordinate information.

If you're going 3 AEQ and 60+ catching then you take make tackle, avoid fake, intercept chance, and then double up one of those.

Somewhere in the DC forum. I looked for the thread but nothing looked familiar.
