Since my name is synonymous with greatness, I'll give you partial credit.

Suggestion.

Anyway, sounds kinda complicated to keep track of who has access to what, when, and why, and you'd have some confusion I'm sure. The current system is built on the idea that you should at least somewhat trust the person you are giving access to, much like sharing builds, etc.

Very true, but you are not giving access to just the owner, but you are giving access to all the other agents who've also been given access by that same owner. SO when you allow access to a team, you are giving access to all of the agents who have been granted the ability to see AI's for that given team. I know it's a suggestion so I'll stop. But it is a very bad issue that could use some tweaking maybe by changing it from giving a team access to giving specific agents access.

This goes along with what you posted about the complexity of the game being too hard for the beginning user. Has GLB looked into trying to make the SIM more enjoyable for the teams in the Minors?

The bolded above is not true. The buff actually scales less and less up to around lv 50, but it is just on the quality of passes (so the chance of catching them is increased). If the main issue is that they don't switch targets enough, they could potentially receive a vision buff for switching targets too. Again, I'd have to see if Catch wants to test that at all.

Catch22 and Bort I was just wondering if you guys had put any thought into making equiping players a little less tedious? basically maybe doing something like the VA system for each individual piece of EQ?

I hate to say it but suggestion. And yes, this is something we've discussed in the past and Bort had reasons as to why he could/would not do this.

What about the current game would you say is most different from how you initially envisioned Goal Line Blitz?

I haven't played that in a couple months. Played Planetside 2 for a bit when it came out of beta; haven't really played much of anything else though recently; at least not for more than 30-40 minutes on something casual like FTL.

Fair enough, but does Catch or GLB have plans to test things for the Minors to help improve the experience for the new user base?

It just slowly gets less and less as you get higher level until about lv 50 where it's zero.

I admittedly don't watch many games at the lower levels - if you want to send me some examples of QB's not breaking off of their first target, I'll take a look at them.

As said earlier, we are aiming for an alpha version around March-April.

Already answered - looking to do alpha testing this spring most likely.

It was mainly issues with the logistics of upgrading players with only enough points to do one item, and selecting which one, etc. Odd "read your mind" issues that are hard to solve.
