Obviously we know that game #2 is coming sometime in the future. Where do you see GLB+ (Warrior General Games, w/e you want to call the "franchise" of games) in the next 10 years? We will have a one-account type experience across the different games, where you interact with the forums, PM's, and chat room type stuff all as a centralized thing, and share flex points across each. Each game will have its own section for communication about that specific game while you are playing it, but all the centralized private forums and general chat and stuff will be shared. We want to make it fairly seamless to switch between the games you want to play, and even transfer data between them if it applies.

All future games will also be designed with mobile devices in mind, so that they work well on phones and tablets without having to have an app, via designs that scale and change depending on your device or resolution. We are also designing them to be potentially plugged into Facebook easily, assuming that's still something that people do a lot in the coming years (facebook-based games).

Our main focus has and will continue to be sports games, and we'd like to eventually have a game for each of the major "big 4" sports, but we have some other ideas as well outside of that genre.

I was not aware of that. Pallow has whined multiple times about the current chat software being lacking, though. Like I said earlier, we're gonna scrap it at some point.

There's some scaling bonus and penalties here and there for various levels, but overall the code is the same from lv 1 to 80.

Hypothetical numbers, you get 10 points added into a roll for each level of a certain SA. Is there a level or levels that are worth more such as hypothetically level 4, 7, and 10 add 15 points?


No - it's a flat progression value until you hit 10 at which point the returns are diminishing. Think of it this way.

SA at 1 = 10% power of the SA
SA at 10 = 100% power of the SA
SA at 11 = 105% power of the SA (not an exact number just an example)
SA at 12 = 109% power of the SA (again, just an example)

If I'm wrong on this (pretty sure I'm not), Bort will correct me.

We're fine with how the sim balance is right now. We've tweaked the passing game a kajillion times and would like to keep it stable for some time before evaluating if we need to make additional changes.

Back to YAC Attack though since it was brought up. Does YAC Attack stack with slippery/bruiser or is it a separate roll on its own? I have read the Wiki link on it but am confused when you say the differences are in the timing of when they get added to the stack. Is the bonus from 15 YAC Attack and 15 Slippery better than the bonus from 15 Slippery and 9 YAC Attack (since that would theoretically equal the 75% max if they stacked together and weren't a separate roll) ?


YAC and Slippery/Bruiser do stack, but the order in which they are dealt with means that they are not additive but multiplicative (you get slippery/bruiser all the time to you break tackle score, which then gets the YAC bonus later multiplied on top when the situation comes up). I agree it's kinda confusing.

Possibly (don't know for sure since that's not something we track) but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Games are much more compelling now rather than seeing 60-50 games every sim, we see some offensive and defensive battles.
