We gained 227 yards because that is all we had to do. If we were ever losing in that game we would have had over 500 yards of offense. If we ever jumped out on top of them big early we would have went for 700 yards. That is exactly how my offense works man. Are you really that oblivious to this works?

though i will say chem screws a bit with that. so probably some lower numbers than that for now.

You were losing your first two games and still failed to crack 300 yards total offense in either game. I understand how it works, but you overestimate your offense methinks. You have the 4th worst passing offense in the entire WL. You have the 4th worst passing offense in the WL, only 17 yards better than the 2nd worst (obviously BSS is dead last). So there's nothing to make me think that you could have passed your way back if you went down. Prove me wrong going forward, but right now I think your offense on that team is just bad.

The first 2 games are meaningless. The entire game changed the day after that oline code came in.

agree mid lev passing is still a mess.. but not much worse then last season..

it sucks to be a scat fb right now I bet .. I know I am using that slot to block much more.. TE and even more HB blocking then in the last few seasons.. but the passing game mid lev is playable.. If you have a good OC ...

With the new fix, the favored weak side overload blitz, with just one extra pass rusher to create a 3 on 2, pass blocking breaks down. It starts by causing the center to move away from the NT, the LOT and LG are swapping positions. The RG see's all the resulting defenders as currently unblocked so ignores the DE who is at the time still farther away than all the inside pass rushers, and goes inside to help out causing at the least, a hurry/bad pass on the QB by the free DE.
