I know they tailor the sim for those lvl 79 builds but I wish they'd consider how unenjoyable those middle levels are when the offensive side of the sim is so FUBAR there.

Yeah, University is a bit of a PITA, I'm now OCing a team in UE. Rookie is fine, Pro (even Regional) is fine, but in the middle there's a bit of a depression, and University is kind of the nadir of that. There are still a number of things you can do to increase your passing efficiency though.

sacks and picks are one thing, at least defenses can make those plays but there are way too many hurries when the DT has 3 guys blocking him and then a bad throw

The median INTs in the WL so far this season is 2 and 13 teams have 1 or 0. The team that has thrown the most interceptions is 3-0. That team also leads the league in passing yards and throws the rock 60+ times per game. So throwing the ball more often with higher risk plays results in more INTs. Isn't this actually working as intended finally? Though lol @ Wu Dang throwing 5 picks in a game they otherwise dominated.

You do realize that your defense forced 2 punts and your offense gained 227 total yards. Are you claiming that you could have possibly won that game without 5 picks? Ok, maybe with 4 picks.
