cause we didn't pay money for them to throw bad passes, ldo

you don't think NFL owners and coaches bitch every time a QB throws a bad pass or an INT? LOL

you damn right they want their QB to be perfect 25/25 for 500 yards and 8 touchdowns.

it's a goal every QB in the NFL would LOVE to accomplish but of course it's impossible. doesn't mean they don't wish it could happen.

we dont spend money to make perfect defenders who get caught on in double coverage

Yes, every game should have the QB go 25/25 for 500 yards and 8 TDs, and the opposing CBs allow 0 receptions on 7 targets and intercept 3 passes for touchdowns.

That's physically possible, right?

I mean, I don't want to inadvertently divide by zero and create a singularity that sucks the entire internet into the void of the unknown.

lol, now you get it

basically, I agree with the OP, the game for the most part is good. Sure there are things that probably need fixed and other things that are probably build or coordinator issues, but for the most part this sim is much more enjoyable than last season

A little early to pass judgement, but passing seems a bit off so far.

# Teams Above 60% Completion Percentage

World League - 8
N America - 4
Europe - 9
Pacific - 4
S Atlantic - 7

2011 NFL - 16/32 teams
2011 CFL - 6/8 teams

Perhaps an adjustment will be made (either by Bort or OCs), but the passing game in inconsistent at best right now.

Still a lot of teams throwing deepoften. Too many teams not utilizing screens yet. In the NFL you have a very high % rate because of check downs to uncovered backs or quick sceen passes. You really shouldn't compare comp % but rather yards/attempt.

Screens and short passes are still too difficult to rely on tbh. Not sure I would ever want to run one of those gameplans against any relevant defense.

holy hell gettin a little overdramatic about the issues arent we?

Hurries are a bit overboard due to the silly way pass protection currently works. That is resulting in lots of bad throws. Particularly hurting the short throws which is actually pretty pathetic. Thus short throws are still pretty lol and not really worth putting in a gameplan.

I officially hate this season's sim. Passing is FUBAR. I had a lot of success last season and my teams were attractive destinations for stat-seeking receivers. This season, my teams can;t complete a pass for shit (unless it is to the other team).

Last two scrims in NA Pro our QBs went 13/49 and 21/55. In these two games we threw NINE picks. Ive already spent way too much time trying to stop the bleeding. I've changed progressions to target shorter/intermediate routes more frequently. I've asked the QBs to throw early and often. We're checking down often. I bumped up screens. Running out of ideas.

At this point I'm trying to decide if I want to invest any more time or just say "fuck it."

I'm leaning toward the latter.

Yeah, I'm mad bro.

NA Pro had about 2/3 of an interception per team in week 1. That's not a lot at all. I agree the completion percentages are a bit wonky, but I still have yet to see anything wrong with the interception numbers.
