Will there continue to be season ending tweaks to the sim engine, after beta? One thing that keeps the game playable is that it's not the same game every season. Without that we might see a further loss of users.

Maybe even rotate 3 versions of the engine randomly between games? S29-S30-S25 etc.


Sim changes would be minimal but we'll always evaluate/fix things that arise as issues/problems.

Mainly just has to do with numbers of users involved and the 10000000 private forums they are splintered into. We touched on ideas relating to increasing the user base earlier. Not much I can do to decrease private forum usage other than remove them, lol.

"Achievements" are on the list of features to finish.

They can move forward if the rush comes the right way, but usually they tend to get pushed left or right and backward by the pressure. I am not sure stepping forward would help with the speed some of the rushers have, lol. I suppose it could be something to mess with, though. Maybe give them move of a forward vector as a rusher gets closer to even with them on the y-axis or something along those lines?

Yes, they will gravitate toward receivers that are less well covered, and one who is completely uncovered gets priority over all others (unless there's more than one completely uncovered), except for receivers who are deeper than the defender. A player deeper than the defender and completely uncovered would get max priority for coverage (unless there's two)

You could have an approval Mod. A moderator will approve the picture and allow it to be used. The file will be stored in the database. The mod only has to browse the pictures and check a checkbox with approval and the field can then be used. I think it be pretty simple to code actually. Will be HUGE for this game as running scripts isn't in everyone's interest.

I was gonna say this as well except it would have to be more than one mod.

Like just let it need moderator approval and it might take a few days (like team name changes but there would be too many for admins)

btw just heard that AlaskanRaven passed away on July 4th.

She was a fun person who loved GLB. Sad to hear that.

Can there be an added option within the tagging to allow for personnel matchups in the future? allow for tagging within my team to match up tagging done on the opposing team?

speed Rec - speed DB, str Rec - Str DB and etc... give more specific control to coordinators rather than relying on tweaking 'custom slots' and energy settings?
