Correct me if I am wrong but weren’t the New Jersey Nightmares basically a 500 team the past 2 seasons?

Perfect team to merge with. They benefit by instantly becoming a contender. And Davy gets to pick nothing but the best players, the upgrades, from their roster to his. With a .500 team, you can only imagine some of the builds, but there were some solid ones mixed in there too.

Well in reality, MN got revenge on ECT. We knocked you guys out of the GLB tourny. And of course we will try to keep MN from getting 4 in a row.

Well yeah we weren't the best but we had some good builds but just not enough to compete with the best.

Like Akinghorn said we were a perfect team to merge with because Davy already had a lot of good builds but taking our best players has improved the roster quite bit. I think the roster is made up of 13 NJN players then a few new recruits and the rest is Darkness players!

We'll see how it goes, chemistry might be an issue early on, but GL everyone. Looking forward to this season!!

I would rather merge with a 14-2 team... i think that would make me a contender much easier then merging with a sub 500 squad

Just for future notice, the remarks made by Plastic4ork this season, may not always reflect NHG's official stance on a given topic.

I don't think the merge was bad by NJN or Darkness. I have usually found it's not the builds or the merge that hurts the team, but its the working relationship between the previous team's two HC's when game plans don't match. If they can make it work, I'm sure they will be a force to be reckoned with at playoff time.

I don't officially consider it a merge since the 6 guys that came over, originally left NHG two seasons ago. It's more of a homecoming, with a parade, and drunken frat parties. For the record, I don't hate you, I'm just the ony person able to tolerate your narcissitic arrogance for more than a few seasons.
