I'm sorry for spamming, if thats what this is that i've done....

I have 7 more to link up but i'll let it go, i'm not holding my breath for a respectfully titled Casual league anymore, sorry.

You could have put them all in one post. Your frustrations are known Avenger, you dont have to continue to spew it, Everybody gets it now.

If you want to jump off the bandwagon, by all means go for it. I also think that renaming from Casual to Classic or whatever is very low on the list of things that need to get done in casual, I dont think a name change will change how GLB users look at it, they either like it or dont.

And besides you shouldnt hold your breath anyways, it's not good for you.

jb, I'll support you and so will most Addicts if you post this in our PF, but realize that skepticism will remain high at this point, , not personal, just the way it is.

I will always support whatever brings a postitive step towards the Casual team leagues, unfortunately theres been alot of contridiction to the future of Casual uncapped and i'm wondering if its even worth starting this idea all over gain. I feel at this point its a bit of a power trip by those in control, there was no rhyme or reason we could not have 1 elite Casual league this season going forward. There WAS enough awesome teams, there is no flex points lost, no exploits, nothing but positive exposure and hope for future up and coming and existing uncapped teams. Now with that news of nothing new for titled Casual leagues we went from 4 uncapped leagues in the past 2 season down to just 3 leagues this season because of it. Thats going backwards imo, and could have been avoided....yes, but oh well eh?

BTW, Elite Casual is even better then Classic name suggested, it sounds more serious!

No, "semi" is not great come to think of it. I think Pro and "AAA" is best but most regular ownership would feel a bit undercutted by exact named leagues as theres but without the headache of an AI gameplan......

The hell with all that, it's just separating casuals further which is diametrically opposed to what we're shooting for.

The only difference should be the AIs, and I'm sorry JB, but classic is more accurate than Casual. This is how teams were done the first 3 seasons, with a bit more control added in.

I'm not sure how feasible renaming casual to classic would be, if it's an easy fix I doubt they would care, but something tells me it's hard coded somewhere

I think we have a good thing going with a Top league w/ 32 teams and then 2 teams supporting that one, That is basically your 3 current uncapped leagues. Only thing I can think of is what to do with teams that happen to be well over the 46 cap, but not enough room for either of the 2 AAA's.....You'll have 46 cap teams complaining of teams that are too high level. I suppose if we needed 1-2 Uncapped leagues still, they could feed the AAA's

Ya, there has to be a "buffer" league where rosters full of 50's still can win the title before they are ready to move to AAA imo. But, they would also get media funds if they did come up early, it could be a motivator!

Can you do some looking for me and find out how many teams that are in 42/46 right now that would be suitable for an AA level? AA would take the name of uncapped. It's my understanding that Uncapped will be gone next season in the "regular" leagues as well, so any restructuring here we'd have to get rid of it here too.

If we can only come up with 64 AA type teams I'm sure we could go w/ just 2 AA leagues and have them laterlally feed the 2 AAA's.

That would also make it easier for Media revenue to have the 3 tiers setup.

Pro
AAA1
AAA2
AA1
AA2
Cap 46
etc...

Added to the OP - And will have avenger do some looking to see if there would be enough teams to pull out of current 42/46 leagues to fill the 2 suggested AA's

suggested if we have enough to make 2 AA's as well as 2 AAA's, then we can do lateral promotions from AA1 to AAA1 and AA2 to AAA2, AAA1and2 to Pro

Then the cloud. So we'll need
Pro - 32 teams (Best of current uncapped)
AAA - 64 teams (Best of rest of current uncapped)
AA - 64 teams (64 best teams from current 42/46 leagues)

Then start the cloud with 46 on down just like the normal leagues.

It sounds like it could work to me! Now... would it work for Bort?
