Well thanks for raining on my parade. LOL.

What do you think about adding 10 pts to the strength then and the rest to his agility. I just worry about his acceleration and hitting the initial hole fast enough.

I have read a lot about Vision being crucial to hitting that first hole. It is all speculation though. I would take everything you read with a box of salt. Just build the player like you want him to be.

That is what I have done.

vision will just give you options when you get through the first hole agility lets you hit the hole with a good quick cut if you watch most game you get to the hole stop then go forward if you have low agility

You want to know a bit of honesty? Strength > All. Strength and SA's are by far the most important things for a power back.

I already have all my equipment in strength I just need some more money to upgrade all the way and I don't have the flex points to sell my spec equipment and add it all into strength but that sounds good

Ok, I just noticed you had some in agility, vision and carrying. Is that from the custom equipment? How are you for snaps/rushes? I think we are going to be at the point where we need to get stamina into the mid 30's to 40 by the end of Season 3. Our backs are fairly comparable.

about 47/24 for snaps/rushes I was thinking when I level up get agility to 40 the after that just spread my points into stamina strength and SAs

and the agility vison and carrying is from custom equipment

burlysmurf's build didn't do so well against teams that were actually on his teams level. most of the rest of the games were lopsided blowouts. hard to tell how well his build really works...

The main problem I encountered at the end of the season was other teams playing entirely run defense. Our team was very heavy on the rush. You will notice during those games our passing got a pretty good showing though.

This is more a tactics and proper game planning issue.

my build so far is

Strength: 39.03 Blocking: 12.6
Speed: 34.56 Tackling: 8
Agility: 32.19 Throwing: 12.6
Jumping: 12.6 Catching: 13.01
Stamina: 31 Carrying: 24.14
Vision: 29.11 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 19.26 Punting: 9

elusive: 1/1/1/1/1
Power: 2/3/2/1/1

the next 2 levels will me 4 to vision 1 to power thru then 7 to stamina 1 str and 1 to quick step.

i changed my build mid season from high str to more of a hybrid build and have seen good results. my ypc went up almost a half a yard which is pretty good when i had over 250 carries already.
I think i will do even better next season because i started off elusive and used the elusive running style, then i tried the balanced running style a few games. Those games i only ended up with around 60 yards rushing, but when i switched to power running i would get around 100 yards per game.

I am a believer that your str vs the person making the tackles str is a huge part of the fumble #'s. I had about 20 carry on my HB for most of the season and most games didnt fumble. But in games where the OL got beat alot and i kept getting hit by the big strong D-line of the other team i fumbled alot.
