wonder what would happen if I turned my back into an elusive one...I think it would be pretty sick, an elusive hb with 33 strength...

That wouldn't really do much, except against maybe corners and whatnot, who you should be strong enough to toss around anyways. IMO your goal is to be fast/agile enough to get past the D-Line no matter what... and strong enough to break tackles from players in the secondary... meaning your main concern is how you deal with LB. And you'll want to either be stronger or faster/more agile than then. Sitting in the middle won't do you a ton of good.

I'm a level 8 backup RB http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=389747

Heading for power now but still in the formative stage.

Does size matter for a power back?

Vision: 23.06 Kicking: 9

Power Tree - 3-3-3-3-3

I figure 5 more to Strength, 10-15 to Speed, and 10 to Vision. After that I am still undecided.

What do you all think?

35 touchdowns in one season? You don't need help or advice. Give some to us. And I think you answered my question on size. He's small but effective.

you need more into carry. at the beginning of season 2 my rb's carry was about what yours is now and it wasnt working for me. seemed like i fumbled once a game at least

this is kinda how my rb is and he had a pretty good season. from now on i think im going to focus on being elusive though. what im thinking is that if i keep working on speed, agility, etc my strength will be good enough for a few seasons when i go up against corners on the perimeter. i cant see corners having strength up to 30 until season 5 or 6

I can see how the srength can work well get it to 25 and then work on being elusive so you can truck most corners because that have low strength

I don't agree with that. I had 1 fumble in 274 carries. Which is the main reason I am a big supporter in the idea that strength is a HUGE part of the carrying/fumble formula.

I had alot of fumbles with high strength so I'd think confidence at 20 and carrying mid 20s for a power back is good for the moment

Well, I can say that I fumble a bunch with my elusive/speed back that has 20 confidence and 25 carrying with only 23 strength. So there might be some weight to the strength helps with fumbling thing.

My power back's built about like this:

2:1:1:1

Strength : Speed : Agility : Vision

208 car.
1,083 yds.
12 TDs
2 fumbles, 1 lost
Lots of broken tackles.

Here is my guy I know he is way behind a few of your guys but I created him about mid last season and he played mostly backup HB and some FB last season. I just got resigned to another team and he will be a back up again. I am going to boost where should I put my 15 points? I am think getting my strength and speed to 40 and then put the rest on agility. He had 33 Brk Tkls on 74 rushes last season which I think is decent.

If you are going for a power HB I would recommend all 15 to strength.

With you being a backup on a middle of the field pro team it is going to be hard to break a lot of tackles. Your team seems like they would be more geared towards passing.

Yes, make sure you pad your stats in those blowout games so that your 10/-12.3 yds/3 Fum against us will balance out.
