If you pass more vision checks, you will take a better path to the ball. There are vision checks every tick. You probably fail more than you'd expect.

I've actually noticed inferior pathing as often as not with my LB using SV, particularly on outside runs - instead of waiting a couple of ticks and then taking a good line, my LB will start towards the ball two ticks sooner, thus creating a much easier blocking angle for TEs or OLs, who don't have to travel as far to block him since he's pathing towards a player that hasn't gotten outside yet.

I never thought it would work, but everyone was saying it did after Serenity's CB did wonders with it. And now that it's proven wrong everyone but me and a few others looks stupid.

Hmm are you sure, do you have the quote? I thought that question was asked before and he said it did work on Special Teams? I know he said for sure that some of the VAs were altered after creation to help returners, but I thought somewhere he once confirmed SV did as well.
