I'm going to modify my suggestion and say that each owner can nominate 10 total players with a top limit of 3 of his own offensive players and 3 of his own defensive players.

That way if someone doesn't want to nominate anyone from their own team, they can nominate 10 players from other teams.

I agree on Poindexter, it would be a shame if he isn't the starting KR/PR

Not to take anything away from Poindexter's performance, but I think I'd have to go with Tyler Grahm of the Las Vegas Outlaws at this point:

Grahm: 40 KR 1412 Yds 35.3 Avg 1 TD; 69 PR 1423.5 Yds 20.6 Avg 5 TD
Poindexter: 24 KR 788.5 Yds 32.9 Avg 1 TD; 58 PR 1217.5 Yds 21.0 Avg 3 TD

Is that not just a little weak. It would be like selecting the 3rd best QB only having him do run plays so he is included.

You select the best kick returner. Not two cause saves you from a hard selection. If you can not pick from them yet wait till end of the season.

I have to stand up for our PR, RaceHorse. Leads the league in punt return average and tied for 2nd in PR TDs.

I'm a big Tyler Grahm fan. I've been wanting to play the Outlaws to see Grahm vs. Poindexter. Hopefully we'll meet in the playoffs

Rasputin is hands down the best returner in Oceania. His averages are better than the other candidates across the board. He has 3 PR TD's (to Poindexters 3 and Grahm's 5) in about 1/2 of the touches. Hell, even my returner Brock Harder has a better average than Poindexter and Grahm...

...it really isn't even close how much better Rasputin is than everyone else though.

Here's the thing with that, though. Not to take anything at all away from his effectiveness... But punt return average is a very random thing. It relies heavily on the punter.

If a punter kicks 35 yards, the returner is going to have a lot of time, and a lot of blocks are going to develop for him. If a punter kicks 25 yards, then people are going to be on top of him before he can make it 10 yards.

With half the touches, there isn't as much variety of punts. Take Poindexter last year for example; he lead the league in KR average. But he had half the returns of everyone else. Broke a couple long, and it sent his average up to almost 40 yards.

I'm sure Rasputin is an awesome returner. I'm just trying to rationalize that Poindexter is amazing and very attractive physically and emotionally.

One of the returners is gonna have to play another position. That may be the way to decide...are they valuable anywhere else?

I am waiting to get the ballot.
