I think it should just be the owners that vote.

Both these previous quotes have merit.

I like the idea of one vote per team owner.

I agree with the owner votes idea, makes much more sense.

Well, maybe each team can just submit a list compiled in their team forums or something so its not just the owners opinion

Each team has their own vote and the team owners send the ballot to whoever is in charge of this and the votes are compiled and the top players for each position (w/e # for position) are selected for the pro-bowl.

How bout that?

I don't really pay attention to most other players except the ones on my team.

Oh yeah forgot to mention that team owners can suggest some of their own players that they truly think are candidates for the pro-bowl in their position.

Alpha Top Performers

QB Alpha:
-Quentin Fisher of Auckland appears to have the best numbers for quarterbacks in Alpha and I know they have played a tough schedule.
-Boss Bridges and Tom Brady both have more passing yards but have thrown more interceptions so I give a slight edge to Fisher though the first 11 games.
-Interesting looking at the QB numbers for Alpha, most qbs are in the 1500-1800 yd range but have very poor TD/INT ratios.

RB Alpha:
-DMP of Newcastle is running away with this, Maroney of NE has more rushing yards but DMP's 21 TD's are 7 more than the next back.

WR Alpha:
-Marshall Rapid of Emerald City leads alpha in receiving yards and touchdowns. Schweinsteiger (Buffalos) leads Alpha in catches Kuhlman (Flames) is putting together a good season.

TE Alpha:
-Frank McCrackney (Fiji) 600 yds and 6 TD's although he tallied 177yds and 3 TD's of that against Tasmania in the opener.

K Alpha:
-Klugberg (Buffalos) is 27/31 this season, 4 more than Peg Leg (Perth) 24/26 who has only missed 2 all season.

C Alpha:
-Khan (Flames) and Johnson (Emerald City) both outstanding centers, both have 120+ Pancakes.

G Alpha:
-McDonald (Emerald City), Mannerson (Bandits) and Thomas (Bandits).

OT Alpha:
-Hoover Dam (Fiji), Worthington (Emerald City), Gortrino (Seahawks)

*O-line based purely off pancake numbers.

Sorry I cant do Zeta, maybe someone else can.

Top performers so far...

Would be nice to have the 15 week round robin intraconference schedule done before lists were complied. Otherwise strength of schedule differences would come into play and skew stat leaders.

As a seperate post, I just want to give a thanks to Toku for his efforts - coming forward, starting the thread, and willingness to tally the votes.

I don't speak for the league, but I think I can say, the league appreciates it.
