Also, what do you find is best for red zone D, being aggressive, or being more protective??

If you are deep in your redzone, like within the 10 yard line, you might as well play cover 0 and bring your safeties up to double some receivers because there is no need to keep them deep. Also from cover 0 your SS will cover the TE man to man so that frees up your LOLB if you want to blitz him, or you can blitz the SS and keep the LOLB in coverage. Blitzing a few players seems to work well in red zone coverage.

I'm just asking about what plays are in the offense playbook. There's the 'official' one here:

http://goallineblitz.com/offense_plays.html

But theres also another one here, with far more plays:

http://seano-glb.bravehost.com/offense.htm

Which one is accurate?

A little help please. How do you get the ROLB to line up in this position?

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=313682&pbp_id=13215452

Thanks

Edit:

Oops. Wrong play. The one I am talking about I can't find again. It is where the ROLB lines up strong side and covers the TE which allows the LOLB and SS to blitz. Anyone know?

I found the right play. Here is what I mean: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=313682&pbp_id=13218252

I'm pretty sure all you have to do there is blitz the LOLB, SS, LILB, and RILB, and the ROLB will assume TE coverage. It might not be absolutely necessary to blitz both the LILB and RILB, as I'm not sure what order of preference TE coverage goes through, but I would assume it's LOLB and/or SS, LILB, RILB, then ROLB. If that is indeed the case then the ROLB only covers when all other LBs and the SS are blitzing.

This may or may not have been answered in a previous post. If it has, I didn't feel like reading though all the threads.

Question:

I have a Defensive AI set up by formation and down and distance. Seemingly, all the formations aren't being seen by the AI because there have been times when the offense is running Strong I or Weak I and the AI is lined up in "any I formation". A team member who also DC's made mention that I have my formations set up incorrectly and that because the AI reads top down that it is focusing on "any I formation" for 2 wr sets and not getting to Strong I and Weak I.

I've checked the inputs, outputs, and # of WR's and all is a go....

What could be the problem?

Make sure your Weak I and Strong I sets are ABOVE your Any I sets. If the Any I sets are listed first, the AI will only select those plays.

Is there any particular order between Strong and Weak?

I don't think so. I haven't had a problem with that. The problem lies with the Any-I sets. Any-I means exactly that. No matter which I formation they run, you will run the plays listed in Any-I if it's listed above the others. Personally, I respect the Strong-I a little more, so I list it first.

Does this apply in all situations. For example, let's say I am playing a cover 1 base 4-3 defense and I wanna blitz SS, MLB, LOLB. Does this mean that ROLB will cover automatically?

If he has another coverage assignment, like the RB out of the backfield, he probably won't which will leave the TE wide open?

What's the best way to get your defense prepared to stop the HB Off-Tackle? Any success?
