I cannot even begin to give you a number of the times I've seen a wide open receiver... QB makes throw... 3 defenders collapse down from 5 yards away and beat the ball to the receiver. Instant triple coverage... instant failed pass... lucky if you're not INT'd.

On the flip side, at the lowest levels, hard cuts and curls and come backs are awesome because most defenders are all speed... low agility and vision... so when the receiver stops, you get just enough of an 'opening' to make a completion (IF the QB sees it!).

I point that out because that's the pendulum. Too much in favor at the low levels... gone in a blink at the higher levels. IMHO, if I was trying to create a level playing field for the passing game, then the 'ball speed' would be adjusted according to the levels of the players. Lowest levels = lower ball speed... higher levels = higher ball speed. And, yes, you can make an argument about Strength and Bullet doing that but it hasn't worked as it should for a long time. I don't see boosting strength being the answer... or catching and 'bullet' adjustments either. But simply adjusting ball speed would.

FYI: custom plays should now be available for use in AI/games, and can be assigned to a team as well as user.

I'll be adding one extra offseason day in case folks want to check it out and/or test things, with more if there's a need to fix any major bugs, etc. I've tested it out on my dev setup, and all seems to work as expected, but hey somebody might find something broken. Last day will come with an announcement as usual.

I just removed all the extra league types that don't exist right now on https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/purchase_team.pl to make it less confusing

EDIT: Bort is online this morning, and he seems to have already fixed the problem I described below.

I tried creating a package with multiple newly created offensive plays in it, and I found that I had to hit "Update" after adding each play before it would let me select another custom offensive play to be added, in case anyone runs into that and gets frustrated. I posted in Discord about it already.

Don't forget we're in Prep. Don't know how dots will respond in Pro with teleporting safeties triple cover anything!
