Just couldn’t string long enough drives together. I’d have thought if we could complete >70% passing it would have been closer lol

Nice to see the pacemakers woke up but since against the feeble wasps it doesn't count.

PVAC might want to work on their pass defense

OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY RANKINGS AFTER WEEK TWO

3 games into the season and clear contenders and obvious pretenders are emerging. Some of the early top five favorites such as NB and PVAC have collapsed and need to get better in a hurry or could drop to pretender status. Let's get to it.

1. FFG - Last Rank 1st - 3 really impressive wins to start the season with zero points allowed. That's just good Dotball. Period. However perhaps a crack shown on offense against Nebraska this week with only 12 pts scored. 1st in both rushing yards allowed and passing yards allowed.

2. Midnight Marauders - Last Rank 3rd - MM have kicked the crap out of both Nebraska and Lincoln to start the season, scoring 93 points and giving up just 6 in those games. Massive tilt against FFG coming up.

3. BC Lions - Last Rank 2nd - Lions went up against a 4th ranked Road Doggies team and left them whimpering following a 38 to 7 beatdown. Lions rushing attack ruled the day and sent the RDs back to the drawing board.

4. Mini Chiefs LR 5th - A powerful passing attack simply dismantled a Gofers team on this day, completing 25 of 26 passes for 576 yards on the day. PVAC DC Stoned Beaver was found twitching in the corner muttering, I needed to stop the RUN... the RUN. Maybe the Lions damaged him and now the Chiefs finished the job. Chiefs owner nytstud has promised the fans he is gonna neuter the Doggies and declaw the Lions in the next two games. Time will tell but Chiefs definitely look strong through 3 games.

5 Drumm Farm LR 6 - Not much to say here. they beat a nobody squad to move to 2-1 on the season. Big games coming up vs LN and MM and Drumm promises they will be ready for both squads.

6. Texas Road Dogs - LR 4th - Road Dogs were confident heading into their game with the Lions but just could not get a handle on those fat, slow quarterbacks and will have to regroup after a 31-point loss. The passing game did look good in defeat though.

...............

Rounding out the top 11

7. Miami Farm Team (Uni2) LR - 8th - A dominating 63 to 3 win over Hollywood helps the MFT continue to edge up the rankings. How they perform in the tourney will ultimately result in a move up or down the rankings.

8. Whiskey Bent (Uni2) - LR 9th ... Whiskey continued the hot start down on Uni2 with a convincing 19to 0 shutout of the Nightmare. Having given up no points through the first few games, Whiskey is drunk on their own success and looking directly at a huge week 6 showdown with MFT for the right to be the best Uni2 in these rankings.

9. KC Playmakers LR 13th - The Pacemakers woke up in this week's game against the sputtering Wasps, winning 33 to 0 and only allowing 1 completed pass. Makers defense dominated in every way and are ready to do battle against the Lions in week four.

10. Heidelberg Spartans (Uni2) - LR 10. Continue their red hot play against ice cold competition, winning 146 to 14 against Jupiter in week 3. Week 5 against MFT and week 6 against the Nightmare will prove if they belong or not.

11. WLE NY Nightmare (Uni2)- LR 11th Battled hard this week against the Hell Bound Gang of Whiskey Drinking but failed to score in a 19 to 0 defeat. Need to right the ship this week against Farming Frenzy to keep their place in the rankings.

12. PVAC Gofers LR - 7th - Gofers appear to be going in the wrong direction and are now 0-3 on the season with 58 points scored but a disappointing 119 points against. They should win their first game next week but then run into Playmakers, LN, MM FFG and NB which could leave them 1-8 and forgotten. Dr E and his Stoned Beaver have to figure their shit out soon or relegation is likely.

Don't Care How embarrassing their sad sack bunch of dots look each week

13. Nebraska Blackshirts LR 13th - Nebraska definitely had a tough schedule early on but 0-3 with only 3 points scored has the Blackshirts feeling soiled. Have a strong chance to win several of their next games and get pointed in the right direction but the offense has to find their footing or it could be a really sad season for the once cocky NB.

14. Lincoln Navigators LR 14th - The harsh words in these rankings last week did little to inspire these uninspired hacks as once again LN were embarrassed on the dotball field, 58 to 3 this past weekend. In fact, past two games have them outscored 123 to 3. World League juggernauts perhaps but equally obvious they are University cannon fodder at this point. Thank god for bye week in week one as this could get ugly in a hurry.

15. Sea Wasps LR 15th- 2 touchdowns scored in three games and managed 1 yard of offense this past week and completed 1 of 18 passes. Sea Wasp Remedial Agency may have to clean house if they continue this tepid level of play that is becoming the laughing stock of University.

16. Farming Frenzy LR unranked - 2-1 on the season but both wins against nobodies and they were embarrassed in week 1 by those Whiskey Drinking Hell Dudes. Couple of good games coming up that will make or break them in regards to our rankings.

17. Black Panthers LR unranked - Also 2-1 on the season and also played 2 nobodies. They did just barely lose to the Nightmare and if they can Beat up on Whiskey and Farming in next two games, could find themselves climbing the rankings.

Nice write up pretty kitty SmithsterSmitty. I'm on vacation, so I don't really have time to do a lot, but I'm really not too worried about the Mini Chiefs. My little Indian's are about to feel the bite of a cornered dog. Even though I don't really care about tournaments, this is the best time for the chiefs to play us.
