In all seriousness, long-story-short, it's been a rough season personally in real life for multiple agents on our team, and we only had, like, 6 games that mattered this season. I figured, what the hell, let's get a win against a great team, pick up some highlight-reel moments, and enter the playoffs on a high note. The way I figure it, if that missing $7 million is the difference between us making it to World League or missing out, then we really weren't good enough to be in World League anyway.

Worth every penny.

We had 2 pick six, this will never happen again. Borfings come once in a while but in the playoffs there is not a big fat promo to save you. Getting one win for your proud spending 7M (even if you have so much $$$). doesn’t worth it.

Let me add this.

When I said "rough season personally," I meant it, and I greatly understated it. I'll be a bit more blunt: multiple guys on my team are dealing with some serious shit right now, literal life-and-death shit. A couple of them have told me that GLB is their chance to try to escape that for a few minutes every day. So if I can shine a little more light into their darkness by making a one-time bad decision to spend $7 million in fake money? The right question isn't "Why would I do that," but rather "Why WOULDN'T I do that."

Here's some free advice: don't be mad about it. Just say "Good game."

I enjoy the league forum. Was a good game but is annoying when you lose like that. Many of us have problems that no one knows and this game is a way to enjoy some time outside of real life. I wish the best to you and your friends....

Meh. Some guys like to win. I personally don’t spend money til cas pro or WL unless it’s for like a first place finish in natty pro where if I win I get 1st seed, lose get 2nd seed. But some people just enjoy winning meaningless games sometimes.

It’s a game after all. Play it how you want. Everyone can use minis, so it’s not like anyone is cheating. If you’re already finishing first, just relax and prep for playoffs.

Also. I doubt anyone on this league upsets Cherokee anyway. So you can all battle it out next season

they have to play the other in round 2, so that doesn't really matter much either

they are the 3 seed out of the only 3 non-CPU/trash roster teams in the conference
