ha! this is what i get for not paying attention to the forums for like a month. what a fun thread! I always appreciate rankings regardless of where teams are because it gets fun conversations going.

and yeah, 4th street is clearly trying this year, don't want to sit in pro any more seasons than we have to. but the championship game will be tough whether it's Jersey or Phom Penh. And I freely admit that before the season started I was like "Jersey is going to run away with Canada" but PPWC has put up a solid showing. Always surprises!

Good luck all on the second half of the season! Good to see some excitement in the national pros again.

1st team listed for each league looking strong - can they avoid the upset?

Odyssey vs Gamblers/Roadfrogs
4th Street looks like they can handle all comers
same for Nomad
Hammer Time gave Cherokee a run once, can they pull off an upset?

Is either us or Gamblers against the Roadfrogs. I fear more the conference final than the final.

EDIT: Btw Red Hawks junior looking very strong. Don't want to be here with them next season!

anyway this is our chance. Next season probably TSW will be in EEPL so better to be in WL for our chance to 1-15.

It's a nice compliment, but it might be a little premature. If you look a little closer it appears they've lost an agent with 5 players; and even if they got him back today they would still lose a minimum of 18 training days. That happened to us with Back Street, lost an agent with 6 players at about the same point in the development. Got him back but lost 25 training and just couldn't recover, and the player market, as you all know, for competitive Nat Pro or WL, almost doesn't exist. We were able to get to the WL for a season, but totally got our butts handed to us. So, we wound up bailing at 440 days, it wasn't worth hanging in Nat Pro for a season without having the WL as a goal (decline).

Nice game, Hammer Time! You took control early, but I'm glad we could battle our way back to make it interesting in the end.
