Well, with Robert Woods going down for the season this week it looks like OBJ landed in the best possible spot for a fresh start with as much upside as hecould possibly hope for. Maybe he'll swallow some pride and let his talents do the talking going forward. I always hope for that as the self-sabotaging talents get some years under their belts as I like a good turnaround story...but sadly only a few ever do, and some still find a way to keep giving themselves all the praise instead of the team/system around them that makes it possible. TBD OBJ, good luck.

He’s basically a Wish version of Terrell Owens.

And he’ll likely be a model citizen, and big contributor this season. That’s the M.O. come off season, and next season, the wheels will fall off again.

He’s a douche.

Yep, that's where I'd put my money if betting. But with no $$$ at play, might as well root for redemption. The list of WR douches with wasted talent is already so much longer than the list of WR legends with solid character. They're out there (see: Larry Fitzgerald) if people would pay more attention to character than bitchy diva attitudes, but it is entertainment, and we're a nation of reality TV trash gobblers, so we reap what we sow I suppose.

A great dot and congrats on the WL title, but that isn't what I would consider a dual threat. I assume he has 2 separate sets of EQ and can go back and forth. Looking at his game log for the entire year, he was either a passer in a game or he was a rusher in a game.

2 me, a true dual threat (by my own definition) would be a dot that can do both in the same game (or all their games). I don't know that this can ever happen at the WL level which is kind of the point of the whole discussion.

So... Hood Bomber? The one who rushed 0 times and completed only 44% of his passes in the WL title game?

Not throwing shade -- he has WL gold ring and my players don't -- but that's not a dual threat performance. That's an inefficient-but-effective passing performance.

he rushed for 600+ yards in the regular season

44% yes, but 660 yards in a WL title game, with 2 of the passes being 99.5 and 99 yard TD's

you are correct

this is about the best you can do in WL - otherwise the dot is just poor at both

Agreed.

I'll just agree with Sunder.

Still an interesting dot design, for sure, and kudos for making it work. Anything more I can say would just be arguing semantics.
