You know, it's just human nature and I'm one of those dumbass critters we call human beings so I'm subject to the same natures. You get caught up in arguments between sides and forget that sometimes it's simply a personal point of view. You can send a child to school for 12 years and they still might not learn anything useful. Does that mean useful things weren't taught? No. They're always taught. But not everyone learns the same and some never do learn. And sometimes you know the answers and forget what you know. I know how I feel about vaccinations and I took that to the streets (pages/forums) and banged my head against those other stupid human beings that were trying like hell to tell me I was wrong... while they banged their heads on me trying to tell me I was wrong. Eventually you realize the shtupiddity of it all, burn your soapbox, and walk away.

I'm honestly torn on that. The bump in Covid numbers here in the USA in late March/early April had me worried, but the numbers are once again trending down -- though it's still not over, as I have an acquaintance who tested positive and was sick for several days a week ago. But Covid-wise, I'm pretty optimistic about the USA. I might even - *gasp!* - join the maskless hordes in a few weeks.

But Brazil and India are on fire from this thing right now.

I dunno. I got vaccine dose #1 a few weeks ago, survived, and I'm going back for Round 2 tomorrow. We'll see how it goes from there. But Covid-19 has proven very effective at making people on BOTH sides look stupid at times. It might be on its way out, or it might be gearing up for a big wave from one of the new variants. We just don't know.
