What I'm confused about is why that happened after the 3rd down play started with 0:38 left on the clock. We took a knee on that play too, and the clock should've been able to run down to 0:00 without needing to take another snap. Based on prior experience, I know for a fact that you can run off up to 0:47 between snaps, so the kneel play on 3rd down should've been the last play of the game.

Ah well. It is what it is.

I don't think that is remotely true, you can easily have 0:47 pass between play 1 start and play 2 finish, sure, but not between them.

So the house cleared a little money in the first go round. Here's what each person has left. I talked to the loan shark & I went ahead and replenished those that went broke in our first week. Their bets now only pay off 3x. And since we are resetting once the regular season rolls, the house gave everyone else another $100. Just so PLAYMAKERS doesn't have this preseason title locked up.

you're right but want to be cautious and don't spend everything at once. If you don't control yourself when doesn't matter when it matters probably will be too late.

yes but dont play against the team in the other side, both playing against other teams and that's how the mess starts.

Yes. So if line is Chaos vs NO Kangaroos (-17), you have two options:

Pick the Kangaroos and they have to win by more than 17.
Pick the Chaos and you win as long as they lose by less than 17 (or win outright).

For the regular season suggestion box: make the spreads have a .5--that way no push. Like Chaos vs NO Kangaroos (-16.5), requires 3 scores, or 17.5 requires 3 TDs
