Warrior General Games

We're a quarter of the way through the regular season and so far not some surprises as West is greater than the East and the East playoffs should shape up towards the end of the season. Back down to only half the games with 50+ margins of victory so we have 8, 8, 9, and eight through the first quarter of the season.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE
WR TP Tidwell, Twin Peaks. Tidwell only caught three balls in the Peaks 21-16 win over B.O.S.S. but two went for TD's including the big one in the 4th with the Peaks down two. TP finished the game with three catches for 55 yards and two TD's.

DEFENSE
FS Homura Akemi, Twin Peaks. Akemi was a beat in the 21-16 win over B.O.S.S. The FS picked off three passes on the evening in helping limit B.O.S.S. to just 16 points while also racking up seven tackles in the win.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Returner Kristian Sherwood, The Underground Superstars. Sherwood played a big roll in getting the Superstars field position in the 12-7 win over the Offtopica Prayer. The Underground O didn't score a TD so it was the field positions of the returns that aided them in getting into FG range and the O needed all of them to put the opponent away. Kristian returned two kicks for 46.5 yards and 17 punts for 313 yards on the night.

PREDICTIONS

WEST
The Bus Drivers vs. YOU'RE DEAD TO ME - Bus Drives had a letdown this past week and with TO ME coming off an embarrassing L they'll be more than ready to get back on the winning track. TO ME will get back on the winning track but it won't be easy...27-20.

San Onofre Isotopes vs. Off In The Bathtub (A.D.D) - Isotopes have looked untouchabe in the West and will have an easy one here..84-0.

Twin Peaks vs. Sin City Dream Team - Peaks have looked sharp but the Dream Team nearly rattled BB's cage last week so I'd expect the Peaks to get some picks to turn the tide here...31-17.

Gotham City Rogues vs. DIABLOW DOTS - DOTS get an easy one...77-9.

Detroit Muscle vs. Austin Longhorns - Longhorns coming in off a good win against Drivers and we need to play well to get the upset here. I don't feel it and think the Muscle bounce back from a big defeat...34-13.

Hotties Pride vs. B. O. S. S. - Pride got the first W of the CP season but a second won't be so easy with B.O.S.S. coming off a tough loss to TP. B.O.S.S. won't drop two in a row and win going away...45-6.

Acme Packers vs. Werewolves of Dublin - Dublin in an easy one...135-0.

Hawaiian Tropics vs. Running Gag - The Tropics got their first loss last week and I expect they'll be getting the second this week as they won't have an answer for Gag's ground game...84-10.

EAST
The Underground Superstars vs. Her Majesty's Dragons - Dragons will roll...125-0.

Cypress Creek Scorpios vs. Heisenberg Full Measures - Full Measure in a route...120-0.

Dexter's Dark Passengers vs. Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - HOOD will get this one in dominate fashion...100-0.

Springfield Rifles vs. Orange Creek Outlaws - Outlaws win big...255-0.

Chocolate Blaze vs. Camelot Red Knights - Blaze have won some close ones and they'll continue to do so here with some late game heroics...24-20.

The LEGION'S Alpha Quadrant vs. Bier Markt - BM won by 29 last year and will be a tad more this season...59-13.

Midwest Mafia vs. Wonkas' Candy Corps - Mafia will win going away...77-0.

Nicaragua Chupacabras vs. OffTopica Prayer - Coin toss says Prayer will get answered...20-10.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE
RB Emmitt Smith, Nicaragua Chupacabras. Smith didn't put up monster numbers in the 24-10 win over OffTopica Prayer but provided the scoring margin by scoring two rushing TD's with his 10 carries (35 yards).

DEFENSE
DT Johnny Hampton, Detroit Muscle. Hampton played big in the Muscle's 31-17 win over the Austin Longhorns by recording four tackles, two hurries, two sacks, and also foruced a fumble to clutter up the Longhorn O.

SPECIAL TEAMS
K Lil King II, YOUR DEAD TO ME. King II booted four FG's in the victory over The Bus Drivers. Lil needed them all (48.5, 42, 36, and 28.5 yards) as TO ME won the ball game 19-17

PREDICTIONS

WEST

Sin City Dream Team vs. Hotties Pride - Big one for the Dream Team in order to keep pace in the playoff hunt as we near the mid-season mark. I think they'll have the ground game going in high gear to edge the Pride...31-20.

Werewolves of Dublin vs. Gotham City Rogues - Dublin will roll...100-0.

Off In The Bathtub (A.D.D) vs. The Bus Drivers - Bus Drivers will get to recover from the three game losing streak and win big...50-0.

Running Gag vs. Acme Packers - Gag rolls...230-0.

YOU'RE DEAD TO ME vs. Detroit Muscle - Chemistry will still play an issue and hinder Detroit so I expect TO ME to win but it will be close...27-20.

B. O. S. S. vs. San Onofre Isotopes - A big one between these two. It was all D last season (13-9) but expect a bit more O as the Isotopes continue to keep that zero in the loss column...23-21.

DIABLOW DOTS vs. Twin Peaks - BIG game for both of these teams as we start getting into some heavy playoff seeding competition. Look for the DOTS to strike gold late...27-23.

Austin Longhorns vs. Hawaiian Tropics - Both of these 3-2 needs to keep pace and the Tropics are coming off two losses. Look for Austin to steer clear and get the win this week...31-13.

EAST

Bier Markt vs. Chocolate Blaze - The two undefeated teams go head to head but I believe BM is the better team and will get the win...38-20.

Camelot Red Knights vs. The Underground Superstars - Camelot wanted to know how they would do and after garnering only one win they'll grab number two this week...34-6.

Orange Creek Outlaws vs. The LEGION'S Alpha Quadrant - Alpha Quandrant struggled against BM last week but will get thing right and walk away with a W this go around...34-16.

HOOD vs. Midwest Mafia - Mafia hasn't shown the offensive punch against the big boys and HOOD is a big boy. The beat continue with HOOD pulling away here...31-9.

OffTopica Prayer vs. Cypress Creek Scorpios - Coin toss going to Prayer...31-10.

Her Majesty's Dragons vs. Nicaragua Chupacabras - Dragons roll...168-0

Heisenberg Full Measures vs. Dexter's Dark Passengers - Both at 3-2 this game could be a playoff maker for one team and I'm rolling with DDP...38-17.
